A garment that can be used to enhance the safety of injured or convalescing people. The garment includes indicia which indicates that a person is either injured or convalescing. The indicia is positioned on the garment so as to overlay the affected or injured area of the user's body. In one aspect of the invention, garments are given to outpatients as they are discharged from the hospital. These garments have indicia positioned at the site of the persons' injury or surgery.

A method for adhering a label, lettering, ink, a tattoo, sketch, design or color (indicia) to a substrate comprising the steps of: providing an indicia-bearing backing paper; moistening the indicia-bearing backing paper to form a moistened indicia-bearing layer; providing an adhesive layer between the moistened indicia-bearing layer and the substrate; placing the moistened indicia-bearing layer on the adhesive layer; allowing the indicia to become separated from the backing paper, leaving the indicia upon the substrate; and drying on the substrate.

A method for providing markings, in particular, homologation markings, of a component, at least one communication element, which is situated on the component or integrated into the component, being read out visually, electronically or electromagnetically, at least one code being ascertained as a result of the read-out of the communication element, and the ascertained code being used for digitally retrieving and outputting the markings of the component. A promotional item is arranged as a calendar having a magnetic sheet that acts as a label carrier. On a front side of the magnetic sheet are a plurality of peel-off labels that can be affixed to items such as medicine containers. A system for integrating and labeling a plurality of tablet orders is described. The system comprises a graphical user interface configured to receive one or more inputs for a plurality of tablets associated with a particular patient. A software module is configured to compile the inputs into an integrated order. The system further comprises an integrated label coupled to a package containing a dose comprised of the plurality of tablets input into the graphical user interface. The integrated label indicates information about the first dose and the second dose.

Among other things, one or more systems and/or techniques for labeling a refill contain and/or for enabling operation of the refill container by a dispensing system based upon one or more indicia of the label satisfying a dispensing key are provided. In an example, a label may be applied to a refill container. The label may comprise a first region having a first indicia that may correspond to a shape, color, and/or texture (e.g., a yellow star indicia). A dispensing system may enable operation of the refill container (e.g., installation and/or dispensing of material from the refill container) based upon the first indicia satisfying a dispensing key (e.g., a yellow key component and/or a star shape component). Otherwise, the dispensing system does not enable operation of the refill container (e.g., the refill container is not genuine or is not an appropriate refill container type).

Braille writing devices and systems, and corresponding methods of writing braille characters on a tape medium are described herein. The devices and systems emboss tactile dots on different types of tape medium to enable braille character writing and advance the tape medium to create accurate and repeatable spacing of the braille characters. The devices and systems may be comprised of simply molded plastic parts that snap together using elastically averaging precision alignment features.
