Method of Applying Labels on Store Shelves in a Retail Environment
A method of applying labels to a store shelf in a retail environment. The method includes applying labels with adhesive strips applied to a bottom surface of each label and a top laminate layer with a release coating applied to the top surface of each label. The labels in the pad are sequenced according to a store's planogram.
Multi-part label systems
Multi-part label systems, and methods for their assembly. A carrier material with a first label and a second label removably adhered thereto is provided. The first label and second label are dispensed from the carrier material and applied to a surface simultaneously, whereby after application the underside of the first label is in contact with the surface and the undersurface of the second label is in contact with the top side of the first label.
DIGITALLY PRODUCED LABEL TRANSFER USING SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS) METHODS
A heat transferable label component for a garment or other clothing item or article is disclosed which is preferably produced using all digitally controlled manufacturing methods. The label component comprises a carrier layer, a release layer, an optional primer layer, a color design layer, a transition layer and at least one adhesive layer. The color design layer displays an image on the label, and the transition layer fixates the image and renders it wash and/or wear resistant. The at least one adhesive layer is positioned on the transition layer, and is preferably applied thereto via a selective laser sintering (SLS) process, wherein a powder layer is spread on the surface and fused with a laser. The adhesive layer can be a double layer comprising a white reactive adhesive layer that undergoes a crosslink reaction to become a thermoset and a substantially clear thermoplastic adhesive layer.
Pressure-sensitive label
A pressure sensitive label and method for preparing same, the pressure sensitive label comprising: (a) a support portion, the support portion including at least a carrier layer; and (b) a transfer portion over the support portion for transfer of the transfer portion from the support portion to an article upon application of pressure to the transfer portion while the transfer portion is in contact with the article, the transfer portion including at least a printable layer in confronting relationship with the carrier layer, and an ink layer positioned between the printable layer and carrier layer.
Three-dimensional decal with high-resolution image and removable adhesive
A three-dimensional self-adhesive decal is disclosed. The decal includes a semi-rigid base sheet with an elevated coupling structure with an outer vertical wall. The base sheet also includes a removable adhesive layer and a release liner on a bottom surface of the base sheet. The elevated coupling structure may be either an elevated coupling ridge or an elevated foam coupling plateau. The decal also includes an upper 3-dimensional portion thermoformed from a semi-rigid plastic sheet. The 3-D portion includes a bottom-edge, vertically oriented coupling band that is constructed to couple with the outer vertical wall of the semi-rigid base sheet.
LABEL CONSTRUCTIONS FOR WET APPLICATIONS
Label constructions exhibiting improved ice bucket performance, wet and/or dry opacity, delta opacity, show through, adhesive strength, and/or channeling/label movement are described herein. In some embodiments, the construction has a delta opacity is less than or equal to 10%. The label constructions described herein can be used on a variety of different substrate materials including glass and plastic. In some embodiments, the label constructions are used on glass, such as glass bottled, e.g., wine, beer, and spirits bottles. In some embodiments, the label constructions described herein are used on beverage bottles that are likely to be immersed in water, particularly cold water, for an extend period of time.
BOTH SIDE-RECOGNIZABLE LABEL FOR IDENTIFYING DEFECTIVE PORTION OF ELECTRODE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A both side-recognizable label for identifying a defective portion of an electrode for a secondary battery and a manufacturing method therefor are provided. More particularly, to a both side-recognizable label for identifying a defective portion of an electrode for a secondary battery, which allows both the front and back sides of the label for identifying the defective portion of the electrode for the secondary battery to be recognized by a sensor so that the defective portion of the electrode for the secondary battery may be easily identified even when the sensor is installed at a different place in each manufacturing line.
Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive composition for food packaging label application
The invention relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) composition for clear-on-clear labels. The PSA composition contains an aqueous polymer emulsion comprising an acrylic-based copolymer derived from components including (i) monomers comprising acrylate monomer(s) and vinyl aromatic compound(s), (ii) a reactive surfactant and (iii) a chain transfer agent. The pressure sensitive adhesive composition is resistant to water whitening and is in compliance with demands on food contact materials. Further, the invention relates to use of said PSA composition as well as to an adhesive label (1) comprising the PSA composition, a labelled item (101) comprising said adhesive label and a label laminate web (8) for providing the adhesive labels.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE LABEL
A pressure sensitive label and method for preparing same, the pressure sensitive label comprising: (a) a support portion, said support portion including at least a carrier layer; and (b) a transfer portion over said support portion for transfer of the transfer portion from the support portion to an article upon application of pressure to the transfer portion while the transfer portion is in contact with the article, said transfer portion including at least a patterned adhesive layer in confronting relationship with a surface of the carrier layer, wherein the patterned adhesive layer confronts less than substantially the entire surface of the carrier layer.
