DISSOLVABLE THERMAL DIRECT ADHESIVE LABEL AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY AND USE OF THE SAME
A label assembly including one or more dissolvable thermal direct adhesive labels and methods of assembly and use. According to one embodiment, each label includes a base layer, a thermal direct layer, an adhesive layer, and a barrier layer. The base layer, which has an upper surface and a lower surface, is water-dissolvable and may be made of a water-dissolvable paper. The thermal direct layer is positioned directly over the upper surface of the base layer and functions in the conventional manner to produce markings therein in response to heat. The adhesive layer is water-dissolvable and is positioned below the lower surface of the base layer. The barrier layer, which is positioned directly below the lower surface of the base layer and directly over the adhesive layer, serves to prevent migration of the adhesive layer through the base layer and into contact with the thermal direct layer.
Label for use on store shelves in a retail environment
A label for use on store shelves in a retail environment. The label include adhesive strips applied to a bottom surface of each label and a top laminate layer with a release coating applied to the top surface of each label.
LABELS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
Label apparatus having identification tags and tamper evident pattern release layers and methods of producing such labels are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first substrate, a first pattern of adhesive, a tamper-evident release layer, a second pattern of adhesive, a tag, a third pattern of adhesive, and a second substrate. The first pattern of adhesive includes a first adhesive. The first pattern of adhesive and the tamper-evident release layer are disposed on the first substrate. The second and third patterns of adhesive include a second adhesive. The second pattern of adhesive is disposed on the first substrate and surrounded by the first pattern of adhesive. The tag includes a remaining portion coupled to the first pattern of adhesive and a removable portion coupled to the second pattern of adhesive. The third pattern of adhesive is coupled to the tag, the first pattern of adhesive, and the second substrate.
REMOVING UNIT AND REMOVING METHOD
Provided is a removing unit that includes: a first conveying roller, a second conveying roller, a third conveying roller, and a take-up roller. The first conveying roller conveys a stack including first and second base members which are removably stacked with respect to each other. The second conveying roller conveys the second base member from which the first base member has been removed. The third conveying roller conveys the first base member which has been removed from the second base member, along a surface of the first conveying roller. The take-up roller takes up the first base member which has been conveyed by the third conveying roller. The second conveying roller is provided upstream from a first tangent in a conveying direction of the first base member. The third conveying roller is provided to overlap the first tangent or provided downstream from the first tangent, in the conveying direction.
Method of Applying Labels on Store Shelves in a Retail Environment
A method of applying labels to a store shelf in a retail environment. The method includes applying labels with adhesive strips applied to a bottom surface of each label and a top laminate layer with a release coating applied to the top surface of each label. The labels in the pad are sequenced according to a store's planogram.
Linerless label
This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a direct thermal linerless label web (100), the direct thermal linerless label web (100) comprising a face (110) having a first side (111) and a second side (112), the face comprising a direct thermal printable coating, wherein the method comprises supplying the face (110), and applying modified adhesive coating (121) on to a substrate (110, 611). The modified adhesive coating comprises water-based acrylic adhesive, and emulsified silicone additive. The method further comprises thermally drying the modified adhesive coating (121) on the substrate (110, 611) into a pressure sensitive adhesive coating (120). The substrate is the face (110) or a carrier material (611, 611a, 611b). This invention further relates to a direct thermal linerless label web (100), and a use of a direct thermal linerless label (100) in on-demand printing.
SINGLE PLY PIGGYBACK LABEL
A label combination for a single ply piggyback label is provided. The label combination includes a primary label with a silicone release patch disposed on a front side of the primary label. An adhesive coating is disposed on a backside of a removable label. The backside of removable label is disposed over the silicone release patch on the front side of the primary label to form the label combination.
Labels and methods of producing the same
Labels having identification tags and tamper evident pattern release layers and methods of producing such labels are disclosed. An example method includes moving a first substrate in a direction. The first substrate has a first side opposite a second side. The first side has a first adhesive and a pattern release layer. The method also includes coupling a third side of a tag to the first side of the first substrate. The tag includes the third side and a fourth side opposite the third side. The method also includes mating transfer tape of a second substrate over the first side and the fourth side. The second substrate includes a liner layer and the transfer tape. The transfer tape is to be positioned immediately adjacent the tag.
Device screen protector article
An article for protecting a display screen of an electronic device with a display surface. The article may comprise a substrate configured to cover the screen of the device during us of the device, at least a portion of the substrate being substantially transparent to permit viewing of the display surface through the substrate. The substrate may have a perimeter, an outer surface for facing outwardly from the display surface when the substrate is applied to the display surface, and an inner surface for facing toward the display surface when the substrate is applied to the display surface. The article may comprise at least one marking on the substrate.
