Peel-off detection label
The invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate including a support, a pattern layer formed in a part of the surface of the support, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminate having at least a low modulus layer (X), a high modulus layer (Y) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (Z) in that order, in which the low modulus layer (X) has an n-layered structure (where n is an integer of 1 to 10) having a surface in contact with the support and the pattern layer and a surface in contact with the high modulus layer (Y), and the low modulus layer (X) satisfies a specific thickness-average shear storage elastic modulus.
POST CONSUMER WASTE THERMAL FACE SHEET
Label assemblies and methods of manufacturing label assemblies are described. In an aspect, a label assembly includes a post-consumer waste (PCW) paper layer and a thermal coating applied at a side of the post-consumer waste paper layer. The post-consumer waste paper layer may have a fiber density that allows the thermal coating to sit on the side of the post-consumer waste paper layer while reducing absorption of the thermal coating within the post-consumer waste paper layer.
A SHRINK LABEL AND METHOD OF USE
A shrink label for application to a bottle and a cap is provided to maintain the position of the cap relative to the bottle. The shrink label includes an interior surface defining an opening therethrough, a first adhesive strip extending circumferentially about the interior surface of the shrink label, and a second adhesive strip spaced a distance above the first adhesive strip and extending circumferentially about the interior surface of the shrink label. The first adhesive strip is aligned with a portion of the bottle and the second adhesive strip is aligned with a side portion of the cap such that an intersection point between the bottle and the cap is positioned between the first adhesive strip and the second adhesive strip. A perforation line can be included on the shrink label above the second adhesive strip for removal of the shrink label.
Mat Stickers for Yoga and Pilates
The present invention is stickers for exercise mats, such as those commonly used in yoga or pilates. These mat stickers are available in a multitude of geometric shapes and adhere to the mats via an acrylic surface. A preferred thickness for the mat stickers is approximately 1.5 mm, which provides a sufficient grip for the practitioner, but is thin enough to roll into the mat at the conclusion of the exercise.
Shielded direct thermal label and methods
A label comprises a facestock adapted to be adhered or attached to an object. A direct thermal coating is on the facestock, the direct thermal coating configured to selectively darken by heat activation when direct thermal printed. A cured ultraviolet coating is on the direct thermal coating, the cured ultraviolet coating having photoinitiators with substantial activation at an exposure limited to radiation at a 315 nm-450 nm wavelength range, and configured to allow direct thermal printing of the direct thermal coating therethrough. The ultraviolet coating is cured without heat activating the direct thermal coating.
LABEL CONSTRUCTIONS FOR WET APPLICATIONS
Label constructions exhibiting improved ice bucket performance, wet and/or dry opacity, delta opacity, show through, adhesive strength, and/or channeling/label movement are described herein. In some embodiments, the construction has a delta opacity is less than or equal to 10%. The label constructions described herein can be used on a variety of different substrate materials including glass and plastic. In some embodiments, the label constructions are used on glass, such as glass bottled, e.g., wine, beer, and spirits bottles. In some embodiments, the label constructions described herein are used on beverage bottles that are likely to be immersed in water, particularly cold water, for an extend period of time.
PRIVACY LABEL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROTECTING PRIVACY
A privacy label system includes a sheet of label material configured to be removably attached to a container of a product in an unfolded layer configuration. The label material includes a top surface area configured to receive personal information of a recipient of the product and an opposing bottom surface area configured to receive advertising information associated with the product. An attachment system of the privacy label system is operable to removably attach the label material to the container in an unfolded layer configuration such that the bottom surface area is positioned between the top surface area and the container, once the label material is attached to the container. The label material is operable to be removed from the container by the recipient by hand, in order to remove the personal information from the container and to reveal the advertising information to the recipient.
Vulcanization tire label
The present application relates to a vulcanization label that can be used to label tires. The label comprises a facestock layer, a first primer layer, a second primer layer comprising a zinc oxide, and a reactive adhesive layer. The two primer layers have different compositions. The second primer layer has a coating weight that is greater than 3 gsm. At least a portion of the second primer is in contact with at least a portion of the reactive adhesive layer.
Labelling arrangement for deep-freeze applications, system and method for applying a labelling arrangement for deep-freeze applications
A labeling arrangement (1) for frozen applications comprises a top label (10) having an adhesive layer (12) having a predetermined freezing temperature below 0° C. The labeling arrangement (1) further comprises a base component (20) having a base layer (21) and an interlocking structure (22) comprising a plurality of hook-shaped coupling elements (23). The hook-shaped coupling elements (23) each comprise a first and a second portion (231, 232) which are geometrically different such that the first portion (231) extends laterally beyond the second portion (232) with respect to a main lateral extension plane of the base layer (21), the second portion (232) being arranged between the first portion (231) and the base layer (21) and coupling the first portion (231) to the base layer (21). The adhesive layer (12) is adapted to be coupled to the interlocking structure (22) above the freezing temperature of the adhesive layer (12) such that they form a positive coupling at freezer temperatures below the freezing temperature of the adhesive layer (12) and a substantial coupling at temperatures above the freezing temperature of the adhesive layer (12).
COMPOSITE MERCHANDISE LABEL CONSTRUCTIONS
Label constructions comprise a first section and a second section that are laminate constructions of a card stock top surface that may include printed indicia, an adhesive layer disposed underneath the card stock, and a removable liner adhered to the adhesive layer and common to the first and second sections. The first section includes an RFID device. The first section may be configured once removed from the liner to fold on itself to form an RFID tag, or to form an RFID adhesive label. The second section once separately removed from the liner forms an adhesive label. The construction first and second sections are positioned adjacent one another and are formed during the same manufacturing process for purposes of manufacturing efficiency. The first and second sections may be treated to facilitate separate removal from the liner to provide labeling flexibility.
