Self laminating labels

A labeling assembly is shown and described herein. A labeling assembly for laminating labels may include a label sheet, a laminating sheet and an alignment member. The alignment member may allow folding of the label sheet and laminating sheet. The label sheet may include a facestock sheet and a liner sheet. Labels may be pre-cut in the facestock sheet. The laminating sheet may include a laminae film sheet and a liner sheet. Protective covers may be pre-cut in the liner sheet and laminae overlays may be pre-cut in the laminae film sheet. The protective covers may be removed to expose an adhesive portion of the laminae overlay. The label sheet and the laminating sheet may be folded onto each other at the alignment member. The laminae overlay may adhere to the label to form a removable laminated label.

Method of Manufacturing Anti-Theft Labels

A system and method for manufacturing a strip or label used to place a substantially invisible identifying mark is disclosed. A strip is treated by removing at least one area of a liner element, a film layer and an adhesive layer. Each one of the removed areas is substantially congruent with the other removed areas. A laser or other ablating device is used to remove the areas through vaporization. The strip element is peeled away from the liner element, exposing the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is thereafter pressed against a substantially flat metal surface. The laminate top coat and the film layer are removed from the object, leaving the adhesive layer in place. The adhesive material is impregnated with a UV sensitive material, but is otherwise invisible.

Heat-shrinkable multilayer film and heat shrinkable label

The present invention provides a heat shrinkable multilayer film that has excellent adhesiveness between front and back layers and an interlayer, effectively prevents delamination, and is less likely to have white creases on folds. The present invention also provides a heat shrinkable label formed from the heat shrinkable multilayer film. The present invention relates to a heat shrinkable multilayer film, including: front and back layers each containing a polyester resin; an interlayer containing a polystyrene resin; and adhesive layers, wherein the front and back layers and the interlayer are stacked with the adhesive layers interposed therebetween, and the adhesive layers each contain 50 to 95% by weight of a polystyrene resin and 5 to 50% by weight of a polyester elastomer.

RECYCLABLE LINER FOR LABEL ASSEMBLY

In accordance with the present application, there is provided a release liner and method of preparing a liner for a label assembly. The release liner includes paper having a first side that does not have a machine finish or gloss finish or a coating; and a silicone treatment applied to the first side of the paper. The method of preparing a liner for a label assembly includes applying a coat of silicone to a paper at a side of the paper that does not have a machine finish or gloss finish and is otherwise uncoated; and curing the silicone. The release liner includes paper having a silicone coat weight of 0.5 lb/ream or less.

Label stacking machine and method

A device for stacking a plurality of partially connected labels into a plurality of partially connected pads of labels comprises a robot arm having at least one vacuum source configured to selectively supply a vacuum force. The device also includes a plate coupled to the robot arm and a flexible pad coupled to the plate and including a plurality of apertures configured to direct the majority of the vacuum force through the flexible pad to a surface of the plurality of partially connected labels.

A lockout tag having an elongate flag; a fastener proximate one end of the elongate flag; a seam proximate an end opposite the fastener; a warning indicia between the fastener end and the seam end of the elongate flag; and the elongate flag formed of a reflective and fluorescent material. The flag further comprising a pouch for additional information regarding the owner and purpose of the flag.

Embossing or debossing of a label substrate

A label as shown and described herein. The label may include a label substrate, an adhesive adjacent the substrate, and a liner adjacent the adhesive, such that the adhesive is disposed between the label substrate and the liner, and wherein the label substrate is embossed or debossed, and the liner is not embossed or debossed.

MULTILAYER LABEL, CONTAINER INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONTAINER

The present invention provides a multilayer label having good gas barrier properties and is capable of maintaining the gas barrier properties at a high level even when exposed to physical stresses such as deformation and impart. The present invention relates to a multilayer label for in-mold labeling. This multilayer label includes a base (X), a layer (Z) containing an aluminum atom, and a layer (Y) containing a polymer (A) having a functional group containing a phosphorus atom.
