20200219420 · 2020-07-09 ·

Provided is a badge sheet assembly comprising a facestock layer having at least one cut line that defines at least one badge and a matrix portion. The assembly includes a liner sheet layer, an adhesive layer attached to the liner layer and positioned between the facestock layer and liner layer, and a patterned adhesive layer attached to a bottom surface of the at least one badge. The badge sheet assembly is configured to be fed through a printer device to receive printed indicia on a top surface of the at least one badge wherein the badge and patterned adhesive layer are configured to be removed from the matrix portion, the adhesive layer, and the liner layer after a portion of the badge sheet assembly received indicia thereon.

Label with removable section

A multi-layer label and methods for assembling a multi-layer label. A carrier material with a first label and a second label removably adhered thereto is provided. The first label and second label are dispensed from the carrier, joined together, and applied to a surface, whereby after application the underside of the first label is in contact with the surface and the undersurface of the second label is in contact with the top side of the first label.

Three-dimensional sticker with high-resolution image and removable adhesive
10597561 · 2020-03-24 ·

A three-dimensional sticker is disclosed that includes a body. The body has the following components: a rigid main sheet constructed from a thermoformable plastic layer, and a flexible/stretchable ink layer adhered the main sheet. Additionally, the body may employ an adhesive layer comprising a repositionable adhesive adhered to the rigid main sheet and a thermoformable release liner detachably adhered to the adhesive layer. The body is thermoformed into a three-dimensional shape with an anchor region and an elevated region. The anchor region is substantially planar and defines an anchor plane, and the elevated region is outside of the anchor plane. The adhesive layer and release liner may be present in the anchor region and elevated region. Additionally, the three-dimensional sticker may comprise a multi-part construction wherein the parts can be separated from each other for easier transport and installation.

Label assembly

The present disclosure relates generally to methods and system for creating a multiple part peel and reseal label assembly that may include one or more RFID devices for use in providing information to potential end users. The assembly may be provided with a plurality of informational sheets or layers that may be printed with fixed or variable information.

A hangtag for a product and related methods are disclosed. The hangtag has a foldable main body comprising a proximal portion having a first end and a second end, a distal portion having a first end and a second end, the first ends of the proximal and the distal portion having a first width, a crease portion positioned between the distal portion and the proximal portion, the crease portion having the first width and a first length extending between the distal portion and the proximal portion. The foldable main body is configured to be folded at or near the crease portion, where the crease portion is shaped and sized to mount the main body over one or more edges of the product such that the proximal portion is adjacent a first side of the product and the distal portion is adjacent a second side of the product.

Labels and their manufacturing methods

A label is constructed from a roll-fed label web. The label web includes a base ply that is selectively joined to a top ply by way of a bonding agent in selected locations between the plies. Cuts are provided through the top ply and the base ply where the bonding agent resides between the plies and in separate locations laterally along the plies such that a cut through the top ply does not align with a cut in the base ply. Sequential cuts are then provided at point of application, together through both the top ply and the base ply and the bonding agent. The sequential cuts are located where the bonding agent resides between the plies and in separate locations laterally along the plies such that the sequential cuts do not align with cuts in the top ply or with cuts in the base ply. Portions of the top ply and portions of the base ply are each defined by respective cuts in the top ply and base ply, and remain adhered to an overall structure of the roll-fed label web. The label produced from the roll-fed label web at point of application may be manipulated to achieve a desired effect.

Curved image bearing dome composite

A dual label combination is provided. The label combination includes a label substrate, and the label substrate is die cut with at least three separate labels. The label combination also includes a liner substrate attached to a back side of the label substrate. The label substrate including at least two die cuts with one of the die cuts defining a liner label that corresponds to one of the at least three labels of the label substrate. A back side of the liner substrate includes a coating for imaging on the liner substrate with: inkjet, laser, direct thermal, or thermal transfer printing. The liner label and the corresponding label of the label substrate separable from the label combination by a manufactured pull tab substantially centered at a bottom of the liner label of the liner substrate and the corresponding label of the label substrate.
