SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER, USE OF A SECURITY LABEL, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER
A security label for a multi-part container includes a first section for attachment to a first container part and a second section adapted to a second container part with respect to a state of the label in that it is applied to the container, so that the label is closed in on itself along an edge line at a free end of the second section facing away from the first section. The two sections form a respective mutually adjacent part of a common material web. The label further includes a severing element between the first and second sections relative to a label longitudinal axis, so that, when the container applied with the label is opened, the label can be cut in a predetermined manner by the severing element and the second section can be removed together with the second container part from the first section and the first container part.
SEALING FILM
Sealing film for application to a base surface includes a carrier film and functional layers that include at least two color display layers and at least two adhesion-controlling layers. The sealing film has an adhesive layer for attachment to the base surface. The functional layers are arranged between the carrier film and the adhesive layer. The carrier film is detachable, at least partially, from the functional layers. In a second state at least one symbol is optically visible but not visible in a first state. The at least two adhesion-controlling layers separate defined regions from the at least two color display layers during carrier film detachment. The functional layers include at least one further adhesion-controlling layer, to make at least one layer behind the further adhesion-controlling layer, viewed from the carrier film toward the adhesive layer, visible in the second state, at least in certain sections, via the detachment.
FLUORINATED SHRINK WRAP FOR SURGICAL ITEM IDENTIFICATION TAGS
A method of enclosing a surgical item identification tag in a fluorinated shrink wrap, including cutting one or more elongated pieces from a shrink wrap tube to form cut shrink wrap pieces, placing cut shrink wrap pieces into cavities in a tray, inserting an identification tag into each of the cut shrink wrap pieces, heating the cut shrink wrap pieces to cause the cut shrink wrap pieces to shrink and wrap around the identification tag, sealing an upper end and lower end of the cut shrink wrap pieces.
PEELING DETECTION LABEL
The present invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate having a backing, a pattern layer formed on a part of a surface of the backing, and a pressure sensitive adhesive laminate in this order, the pressure sensitive adhesive laminate having at least an intermediate layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, wherein a tensile modulus Et at 23° C. of the backing is 50 MPa or greater and 1000 MPa or less.
RESEALABLE RECLOSURE LABEL WITH INTEGRAL HINGE
Techniques regarding a reclosure label are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a reclosure label that includes a flap portion connected to a label base. Further, the flap portion can comprise a rigid material layer. Additionally, the reclosure label can comprise a flexible material layer that is integral with the flap portion and the label base and forms a hinge portion that enables the flap portion to pivot with respect to the label base. Moreover, the rigid material layer can be absent from the hinge portion.
PROTECTIVE EXTERIOR LID LINER FOR A CHEST FREEZER WITH INDICIA RECORDING MEANS
An applied top or liner for use with a chest freezer lid, including a body adapted to engage against at least an upper surface of the lid. The body further includes an indicia writeable surface for permitting a user to record contents contained within a main body the freezer. The body further exhibits a tray shape with interconnected sides for engaging against opposing surfaces of the lid. The body can be constructed of any fabric or thermoplastic composite laminate. Either of adhesives or rare earth magnets can be used for securing the top to the freezer lid, such that the lid can be removable for cleaning, sanitizing or alteration.
DISSOLVABLE LABEL
The development of the Dissolvable Labels for Medvantage® Machine fulfills this need. The Dissolvable Labels for Medvantage® Machine, as its name implies, is a line of dissolvable labels for use on a specific brand of printer. The labels would be used in a wide variety of applications including healthcare, foodservice, sterile processing, and other similar applications. They would be made available in a wide variety of sizes including but not limited to 2½″ square, ⅞″ by 1⅝″, ⅞″ by 2¼″, and similar sizes. Also, in addition to various colors, the invention would be made in various finishes such as synthetic and matte. The invention is specifically designed for use in printers manufactured by MedVantage®, although they could be adapted for use with different manufacturers as well. The use of the Dissolvable Labels for Medvantage® Machine allows for the production of labels that can be removed at a later time in a manner which is not only quick, easy, and effective, but ecologically and economically friendly as well.
CODE-SHIELD LABEL
A label including a first strip including a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first strip includes an opaque material. The first strip further includes a first area proximate the first end. The first area includes a first length along a longitudinal axis common to the first strip. The label also includes a second strip including a third end and a fourth end opposite the third end, wherein the second strip includes a transparent material. The second strip is laminated over the first strip such that the third end is disposed outside the first area. The fourth end extends beyond the second end a distance at least equal to the first length.
Systems and methods for determining shrinkage of a commodity
Systems and methods for determining shrinkage of a commodity sold by a store are provided which may include: identifying data indicative of a volume of the commodity, associating a label with a container that holds the commodity, collecting the label information with a reader and transmitting collected label information to at least one server, automatically determining data characterizing the material in the container, associating the label information and the data characterizing the material in the container, and determining performance data related to the commodity by comparing the data indicative of the volume of the commodity supplied to the store, the data indicative of the volume of the commodity sold by the store, and the data characterizing the material in the container.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TACTILE, TOUCH READABLE LABELS ON TANGIBLE GOODS
Tactile labels with raised touchable and readable projections extending away from a surface of a tangible good, container or package that allow people to quickly recognize and understand the content within the container, wherein the tactile labels may include data that can be extracted via image processing techniques.
