Labels with adhesive patch patterns
A label is provided. The label includes a substrate with diamond-shaped adhesive patches disposed on a pattern on a backside of the substrate. In an embodiment, the label has a peel value within a range of 130-150 gram force (gf) per inch (gf/in) based on the pattern. In an embodiment, the diamond-shaped adhesive patches include a first diamond-shaped adhesive patch and a second diamond-shaped adhesive patch, the size of the first diamond-shaped adhesive patches is greater than the size of the second diamond-shaped adhesive patch. In an embodiment, each first diamond-shaped adhesive patch surrounds a corresponding second adhesive patch without intersecting or touching the corresponding second adhesive patch.
Perforated, combined receipt and label roll
A receipt and label roll comprises a core and a web having a longitudinally-extending axis and wound on the core along the axis. The web includes (i) a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side, (ii) a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate, (iii) adhesive disposed on a portion of the back side of the substrate along the web axis, and (iv) a release coating disposed on the front side of the substrate along the web axis to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the front side of the substrate when the web is wound on the core. The web further includes (v) a longitudinal weakened structure extending along a direction parallel to the web axis and dividing the web into a first web portion on which the adhesive is disposed and a second web portion which is substantially devoid of adhesive.
Method for Printing Electrical-Component Identification Labels Obtained from Whole Base Supports
Method for producing labels (10;110;1110;2110;3110) from a base support according to a predefined standard, comprising the following steps:
a) providing a base support according to the predefined standard, the base support comprising at least one non-removable region and at least one removable region having dimensions substantially corresponding to the size of the label to be printed;
b) inserting the base support (100) into a printer for performing printing on base supports according to the standard indicated in step a);
c) selectively printing by means of the printer alphanumeric and/or graphical labelling information on at least one removable region of the base support;
d) extracting the printed base support from the printer.
COMBINED RECEIPT AND LABEL ROLL HAVING OPTIMAL ADHESIVE PATCH PATTERNS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A combined receipt and label roll comprises a core, and a web having a longitudinally-extending axis and wound on the core along the axis. The web includes (i) a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side, (ii) a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate, and (iii) a water-based microsphere adhesive disposed on the back side of the substrate along the web axis. The water-based microsphere adhesive comprises at least four separate adhesive patches. The at least four adhesive patches are both sized relative to each other and positioned relative to each other on the back side of the substrate such that additional tack desired can be obtained by increasing volume of the adhesive patches without having to increase coat weight of the adhesive patches.
