ADHESIVE PATCH WITH VOIDS
An adhesive patch is provided. The adhesive patch includes an adhesive region with adhesive and a void region devoid of any adhesive.
Printable blank sheet for forming objects
A printable blank sheet includes a top substrate, a center layer adhered to the top substrate with a permanent adhesive, and a release liner adhered to the center layer with a removable adhesive. Perimeter cut lines extend through the top substrate and the center layer of the printable blank sheet and define a perimeter of an object blank in the printable blank sheet. A center cut line extends through the top substrate and into but not through the center layer on the object blank that defines a first object half and a second object half of the object blank.
Clean/biohazard transportation identification tag
A tag for positioning on containers for carrying item(s). The tag includes a base layer having a second status identifier that comprises a status identification symbol. The tag also includes a front layer having a top portion and a bottom portion and a removable tab connecting the top portion and the bottom portion. The bottom portion and the top portion are secured to the base layer. When the front layer is secured to the base layer, the front layer covers the second status identifier. The removable tab includes a first status identifier that is visible when the tab is retained to the front layer and, when the tab is removed, the second status identifier is visible.
CONTAINER FOR A SPECIMEN AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A container for a specimen includes a container configured to receive a specimen for evaluation, a first label disposed on the container and having identifying information, and a second label disposed on the container so as to entirely cover at least all perimeter edges of the first label. The second label includes a viewing portion that allows for evaluation of the specimen and an identification portion configured to receive identifying information. Methods for using the container for a specimen are also disclosed.
Perforated, combined receipt and label roll
A receipt and label roll comprises a core and a web having a longitudinally-extending axis and wound on the core along the axis. The web includes (i) a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side, (ii) a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate, (iii) adhesive disposed on a portion of the back side of the substrate along the web axis, and (iv) a release coating disposed on the front side of the substrate along the web axis to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the front side of the substrate when the web is wound on the core. The web further includes (v) a longitudinal weakened structure extending along a direction parallel to the web axis and dividing the web into a first web portion on which the adhesive is disposed and a second web portion which is substantially devoid of adhesive.
UNIVERSAL LABEL
A sandwich-type, steam-sterilizable universal label for sterile products packaging can be used both on soft packaging and hard packaging. The universal label has different adhesives with different adhesive properties which are covered in such a way that they can be exposed selectively individually and separately from each other for their respective adhesive actions.
SYNERGISTIC ECOSYSTEM OF APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING MEDICATION-RELATED INFORMATION
According to the preferred embodiment, an ecosystem composed of multiple apparatuses is provided to facilitate, in other words help, a user's ability to assimilate medication-related information. One apparatus is composed of racks to stock medication containers. One rack (10), as depicted in FIG. 1, is provided to stock medication containers (16). The rack (10) includes a base (12) and a perpendicular partition (14) that splits base (12) by the middle and into two sides. One tower (20) is provided at each diagonal end of base (12). A label (25) with indicia (26) and medication-related information (27) is provided on a face panel (21) of each tower (20). On both sides of base (12), a plurality of cavities (15) that match the shape of the bottom of medication containers (16) is provided for stocking medication containers (16). Accordingly, the medication containers (16) fit into cavities (15) within base (12), and are keyed into alignment so that a flat surface (28) of the medication containers (16) faces outwards of rack (10), and so that the flat surface (28) of medication containers (16) aligns with face panel (21) of the towers (20). A label (32) with indicia (33) and medication-related information (29) is attached to the flat surface (28) of medication containers (16). Indicia (33) and medication-related information (29) of medication containers (16) align and correspond with indicia (26) and medication-related information (27) of face panel (21) of the towers (20). Indicia (33) and medication-related information (29) of any medication container (16) will also align with the indicia (33) and medication-related information (29) of any other medication containers (16) that the user may necessitate for storing additional medications. Accordingly, the user will be able to observe medication-related information (27) of face panel (21) of tower (20) and continuously observe the corresponding medication-related information (29) of one medication container (16), or of several medication containers (16). For example, if the user notes on the medication-related information (27) of one of the towers (20), the designation MORNING, then the user will be able to continuously view the generally the tower panels that sustain the indicia and medication-related information of the present invention, m
Reconfigurable Label Assembly
A reconfigurable label assembly is presented. The assembly includes a container, a front panel, a back panel, a bottom panel, and an optional pair of attachment elements. The bottom panel is disposed between and substantially parallel to the front and back panels in a first configuration to form a label attached to and completely separable from the container. The label is disposed along an outer surface of the container in the first configuration and is configurable to form a receptacle in a second configuration. The front and back panels are separable and the bottom panel is expandable to form the receptacle after the label is removed from the container. The receptacle is capable of holding a consumable product. The receptacle is reconfigurable to the label after use as the receptacle so that the label may be directly reattached to the container. The optional attachment elements cooperate to releasably secure the front, back, and bottom panels to the container in the first configuration.
Secure substrate for scratch-off products
In one embodiment, a secure substrate provides a print-ready surface for printing scratch-off products and eliminates the need to print lower security layers for protecting against attempts to view hidden indicia information. In one embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying microperforations to a dyed substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density to resist an attempt to reduce the opacity of the dyed substrate by delamination. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer and a lower background layer on a substrate to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer on a substrate, applying a reflective coating, and applying a lower background layer over the reflective coating to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density.
LABEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A method of manufacturing a label with a suspension handle includes providing a first layered material including a support layer and a releasable first front layer. A front surface of the first front layer is coated with a first detachment promoter layer, leaving a zone free of the first promoter layer. A handle area of the first promoter layer is coated with a second detachment promoter layer. A second layered material includes a second front layer and an adhesive layer. While the second detachment promoter layer is wet, the components are coupled, so the adhesive layer adheres to the free zone. The second detachment promoter layer-adhesive layer solidifies to bind the layers. In the second layer thickness, a suspension handle is separated from the handle area. A secondary label is superposed only over the first layer detachment promoter, and forms a label surround in the first front layer.
