The invention relates to a method for selecting a face material for a printable label and to a printed label comprising the face material, which is selected by the method. According to an embodiment the method comprises preselecting steps, printing step(s) comprising printing of the preselected face materials using printing method(s) providing a human-readable information and a machine-readable information, evaluating steps, and a final selecting step comprising selecting of the face material, which comprises the human-readable information exhibiting a halftone resolution at least 30 L/cm and the machine-readable information exhibiting final data area module size less than 1.0 mm.

Smart seal assembly

A security seal identification that may be matched with an identification of a utility measuring meter. This matching may be done, for instance, by a code which is imprinted on the seal and then matched to a meter number in a database, or by a code such as an encryption of the number assigned to the meter. An encryption may be read by an app on a smartphone or checked offline to determine whether the seal belongs to the meter or if it was altered or changed. A mismatch of numbers or symbols may generally indicate a change or manipulation and warrant an investigation.

A kit includes one or more pairs of matching color-coded attachment members and tags. The attachment member is configured to be selectively retained to an electrical wire entering an electrical service panel. The corresponding color-coded tag is configured to be attached, such as through magnetic means, to a door of the electrical service panel. The tag includes pre-printed text thereon, which provides descriptive information regarding the electrical circuit formed by the wire to which the attachment member is associated. As such, the color-coding allows a homeowner or technician to easily identify which electrical circuit is controlled by a particular electrical circuit breaker.

Provided herein are methods, systems and computer program products for detecting tampering, comprising a sealing process and a seal verification process. The sealing process comprising analyzing a seal applied to seal an object as a tamper evident element, recording one or more manufacturing defects of the seal identified based on the analysis, each of the one or more manufacturing defects comprising one or more non-reproducible deviations from seal generation instructions used to produce the seal, and generating a signature comprising the one or more manufacturing defects. The seal verification process comprising obtaining the signature, analyzing the seal sealing the object, and determining whether the object is tampered based on a comparison between the analyzed seal and the signature.

A tamper evident identification tag and a method are provided. The tag includes inner and outer layers. A tab is integral with and extends from at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer and though an article. A unique code associated with an article is printed on a first portion of the inner layer. The outer layer is configured to be foldable such that with a second portion of the inner layer removed from a second portion of the outer layer, the inner surface of the second portion of the outer layer is configured to be bound to the outer surface of the first portion of the inner layer so as to capture the first portion of the inner layer and a portion of the tab with the terminal end extending through an aperture between the first and second portions of the outer layer.

Labels and multilayer adhesive assemblies and laminates are described that contain one or more tamper indicating layers. After adhering to a surface of interest, upon attempted removal of the label from the surface or other manipulation of the label, the label separates along the tamper indicating layer. One or both exposed faces of the separated tamper indicating layer may include tamper indicating and or authenticity indicating provisions such as indicia to further provide evidence of attempted tampering.

CABLE SEAL (VARIANTS) AND SEALING METHOD (VARIANTS)

The invention relates to means for detecting unauthorized access to mobile and fixed warehouses and for protecting material assets stored therein against theft, and also for other similar purposes. A cable seal comprises a housing (1) containing a longitudinal blind axial channel (2) in which the end of a cable (3) is rigidly fastened, two axial channels (4) and (5) with locking mechanisms (6) and (7) for receiving the cable (3), and a loop A situated in the lower portion between channels (4) and (5). The loop A is protected by a mechanism which blocks access thereto, consisting of transverse channels provided in lateral ledges of the seal, said channels slidably receiving a bolt (10) with locking elements (11) mounted on an inner portion for engagement with a ledge (12) provided in the lower portion of the seal. According to a second variant of the cable seal, the mechanism which blocks access to the loop A consists of a covering plate (10), one end of which is hingedly fastened to a lateral ledge (11); the other end of the covering plate (10) has mounted thereon a mechanism which blocks access to the loop A, having an elastic element with a catch (12) that engages with a ledge (13).

Method of making a container having a tamper evident feature

A method of making a container having a tamper evident feature. The method comprises affixing a tamper evident tag to a bottom end so that the tag covers perforations in the bottom end. The tag may be a film-based tag incorporating a color shifting ink layer. When the container is opened, air enters the interior of the container, passes through the perforations and activates the color shifting ink layer.
