A customizable license plate holder for a vehicle license plate is provided, which includes a holder frame that is securable to a vehicle and configured to register with a vehicle license plate. The holder frame has a front frame plate. At least one plate window is provided in the front frame plate. The at least one plate window is configured to register with license plate indicia on the vehicle license plate. At least one decorative element is affixed to the front frame plate. The decorative elements are preferably detachable from the front frame plate.

The bracket includes a proximal bracket portion extending from the distal bracket portion, a cavity defined by the distal bracket portion and the proximal bracket portion, and a magnet in the cavity and coupled to the proximal bracket portion. The fastener includes a stem extending from a first end to a second end. The first end is configured to couple to an object. The fastener includes a ferromagnetic retainer at the second end of the stem. The ferromagnetic retainer has a third width that is less than the first width and greater than the second width.

Magnetic fastener systems and methods

In an example, a system includes a bracket and a fastener. The bracket includes a distal bracket portion defining an aperture. The aperture includes a first aperture section of a first width and a second aperture section of a second width. The second width is less than the first width. The bracket includes a proximal bracket portion extending from the distal bracket portion, a cavity defined by the distal bracket portion and the proximal bracket portion, and a magnet in the cavity and coupled to the proximal bracket portion. The fastener includes a stem extending from a first end to a second end. The first end is configured to couple to an object. The fastener includes a ferromagnetic retainer at the second end of the stem. The ferromagnetic retainer has a third width that is less than the first width and greater than the second width.

Sign and display systems

Sign and display systems including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet are described. In some embodiments, the faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. In some embodiments, the faceplate includes two recesses in the back surface, where the first level recess is configured to receive a backing plate and the second lower level recess is configured to receive the lens. The at least one magnet can be mounted in either a first recessed surface of the first level recess or the backing plate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force to secure the faceplate, lens, and backing plate together.

Sign and display systems

Sign and display systems including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet are described. The system ensures locking of the two mutually displaceable portions without the visible information-carrying part being disfigured. Unauthorized persons cannot remove the information-carrying part without having knowledge about the location of the magnetically releasable lock.

A hands-on wheel, transparent multi-pocket pouch for displaying personal identification documents uses a multi-pocket pouch, a transparent exterior pocket and an external device fastener to mount a user's identification documents on the steering wheel of a vehicle. The multi-pocket pouch includes a transparent enclosure that has an interior pocket. The transparent exterior pocket includes a front face of the multi-pocket pouch to hold prioritized documents (e.g., a driver's license) above important, but lower priority, identification (and supporting) documents stored within the multi-pocket pouch. Supporting documents may include vehicle registration, proof of insurance, etc. The external device fastener may be connected to a rear face of the multi-pocket pouch so that the multi-pocket pouch can be attached to the vehicle's steering wheel. The present apparatus may also be made of flexible materials capable of conforming to the shape of the steering wheel.
