There is provided a system for securing a sign to a support surface. The system comprises a magnetically releasable lock adapted to automatically lock mutually displaceable surface portions together. The system ensures locking of the two mutually displaceable portions without the visible information-carrying part being disfigured. Unauthorized persons cannot remove the information-carrying part without having knowledge about the location of the magnetically releasable lock.

A status indicator device that is mountable to an object includes a flag that rotates between positions that expose indicators to provide an indication of a status of the object. The status indicator device includes a base upon which indicators are disposed. The indicators may be, e.g., stickers, decals, etc. that provide the status of the object. A flag is rotatably mounted to the base by an axis that is perpendicular to the base, so that the flag rotates with respect to the base within a plane that is parallel to the base. The flag rotates between two different positions at which different indicators are exposed. One or more flag stops may be used to stop the rotation of the flag at the desired position. A handle on the flag may be used to rotate the flag and may be configured to lock the flag in a desired position.

The garden hanging apparatus comprises a bracket adapted to receive an insert. The bracket comprises an extending member, a vertical member, and a brace member. The extending member and vertical member are joined together. The brace member spans between and is joined to the extending member and vertical member. A kit for making a sign utilizing a router includes a plurality of interlocking templates that can be utilized to form the letters for a sign. The kit includes two or more templates that are positioned in the same location on a board in a sequence to form a single letter, number or symbol with an island with an uninterrupted perimeter. The kit also includes a guide bushing that is secured to the router bit to prevent the router bit from gouging into the templates.
