IGNITION PLUG AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IGNITION PLUG
An ignition plug such as a spark plug or a glow plug configured to ignite an air-fuel mixture in an internal combustion engine includes a mark that is formed of an oxide film generated on the surface of a metal member or is formed of the metal member and the oxide film. The mark is formed by promoting formation of the oxide film on the surface of the metal member or removing the oxide film through radiation of a laser beam onto the surface of the metal member.
Method of manufacturing anti-theft labels
A system and method for manufacturing a strip or label used to place a substantially invisible identifying mark is disclosed. A strip is treated by removing at least one area of a liner element, a film layer and an adhesive layer. Each one of the removed areas is substantially congruent with the other removed areas. A laser or other ablating device is used to remove the areas through vaporization. The strip element is peeled away from the liner element, exposing the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is thereafter pressed against a substantially flat metal surface. The laminate top coat and the film layer are removed from the object, leaving the adhesive layer in place. The adhesive material is impregnated with a UV sensitive material, but is otherwise invisible.
Information writable film and a sample storage body
To provide an information writable film that is chemical and abrasion resistance, and is suitable for high contrast white laser marking. The information writable film comprises a writable film layer 110 and a reading assistance layer 120. The writable film layer 110 is formed into a film shape by thinly stretching a material, which material is a mixture of a color former composition for coloring white when receiving the particular wavelength laser beam by changing its physical and chemical characteristic and a transparent plastic composition. The reading assistance layer 120 is provided enhancing the contrast ratio. The writable film layer 110 is provided with laser coloring properties and chemical and abrasion resistance. During writing, an identification code is written by laser by coloring the color former in the writable film layer 110. During reading, the contrast ratio is enhanced by superimposing the color of the reading assistance layer 120.
METHOD FOR SIMPLIFICATION OF COMPLEX WEEDING CONTOURS
A method of and system for weeding a design in a substrate have a first layer and a second layer is disclosed. The method and system determines an outline of the design and an inlet portion of the outline. The inlet portion is defined on at least a first and second side by the outline of the design and is open on at least a third side. The method and system cuts through the first layer but not the second layer along at least a portion of the outline that is not included in the inlet portion. The method and system also cuts through both the first and second layers along the inlet portion of the outline. The method and system also cuts through both the first and second layers along a path that closes the third side of the inlet portion.
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND LASER MARKING METHOD
A semiconductor device that is a facedown mountable, chip-size-package type semiconductor device, the semiconductor device including: a semiconductor substrate; and a metal layer that is disposed on the semiconductor substrate and is exposed to outside. One or more marks are provided on an exposed surface of the metal layer. The one or more marks each include an outline portion defining an outline of the mark, and a central portion located inward of the outline portion. In a plan view of the exposed surface of the metal layer, the outline portion has a color different from at least one of a color of the central portion or a color of a base portion that is a portion of the exposed surface of the metal layer on which the one or more marks are not provided.
LASER-ENGRAVED SEAL
A laser-engraved seal is provided with improved tamper-resistance, in which the laser-engraved seal includes a surface layer and an adhesive layer, wherein laser engraving on the seal is performed such that the applicable part of the surface layer is removed to form a background pattern, and an identification mark is formed inside the background pattern. The laser-engraved seal includes a surface layer having a first color serving as a release layer, and a base material layer having a second color including a base material or an adhesive layer serving as a base material, and the laser-engraved seal further includes a background pattern formed by removing part of the surface layer by laser engraving performed on the surface layer, and an identification mark formed as a recess inside the background pattern by removing part of the base material layer by laser engraving.
QUICK RELEASE DEVICE OF HAND TOOL
A quick release device of a hand tool includes: a main body; an operating portion, including a slidable sleeve movably disposed around the main body and a pin radially inserted into the slidable sleeve, the operating portion further including a movable rod movably disposed in the main body, the pin connected with the movable rod; an annular plastic body, rotatably disposed around the slidable sleeve and corresponding to the pin, a stepped structure formed between the slidable sleeve and the annular plastic body; an identification portion, disposed around the annular plastic body; wherein the slidable sleeve is movable between first and second positions, when the slidable sleeve moves toward the first position, the pin drives the movable rod to move toward a fixing position; when the slidable sleeve moves toward the second position, the pin pushes the movable rod to move toward a releasing position.
Method and dye mixtures for marking shape memory polymers, and shape memory polymer articles with switchable readability
A method for marking an item including a shape memory polymer (SMP) having a visual readable and/or machine readable graphic element on the surface of the item. The method includes pretreating the surface of the item; coloring the surface of the item with a dye solution containing an organic dye and an organic solvent; cleaning and drying the surface of the item; and engraving by at least partially ablating the surface of the item. The dyeing process is suitable for coloring the surface of a shape memory polymer (SMP), wherein the information is engraved in a form of a code or other label on the colored surface. The coloring causes an increased contrast and thus facilitates machine readability of marking and coding without affecting the other properties of the SMP.
IDENTIFICATION PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
An identification panel has a first, upper plastic ply in a first color and at least one second plastic ply, situated below the first plastic ply, in a second color, with depressions being provided in the first, upper plastic ply, by removal of material, for the representation of characters or symbols, and extending as far as the second, lower plastic ply. A method for producing an identification panel of this kind provides for depressions to be made in the first plastic ply by removal of material to generate characters or symbols, the depressions extending through the first plastic ply at least as far as the second plastic ply.
