A sign and display system including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet is described. The faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. The lens may include one or more edge protrusions configured to enter one or more small recesses in the side of the faceplate recess to secure the lens to the faceplate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the recess of the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force on the backing plate to secure the faceplate and lens to the backing plate. An insert capable of displaying text and/or graphics can also be positioned between the lens and backing plate in the recess of the faceplate.

A method and system for managing law enforcement critical incident operations at a scene of the critical incident is described, including at least one writable panel adapted and constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident and to contain relevant information related to a critical incident. A plurality of matching portable forms contains a copy of an entire panel or part of a panel. The forms can be color-coded in the same way as the matching panel or part of a panel. The portable forms are constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident, and handed out to field officers at the scene of the critical incident. The officers can write information on the portable forms while executing the operation, and through the forms provide rapid and efficient feedback to a commander who is coordinating the operation with help of the matching panels.

In particular, the folding cartons may be attached to each other with magnets. Also, the top and bottom flaps and side panels may have angled reliefs that allow the adjacent folding cartons to lay flat on the wall regardless of deformations (e.g. curvature) of the paper used to make the folding carton.

A decorative container for collecting used wine corks prior to recycling is formed from at least a front and rear panel that are generally rigid and optionally spaced apart in two parallel planes by sides panels. The side panels may have a plurality of fingers that are received in mating slots in the front and rear panels to form a box with an open upper rim and a closed bottom for receiving the corks. Decorative artwork or photographic images may be printed on the rear surface of a clear front panel. The rear surface of the clear front panel having the decorative artwork or photograph images is covered by a protective laminating layer. Decorative plaques may be attached to the forward face of the front panel via magnets. The magnets may be secured to the front panel by bolts that urge the front and rear panel secure engagement with the side panels. The decorative plaques are sized to fit over the bolts and/or magnet components that would otherwise be visible on the front sheet.
