An expandable touch screen display device made up of a flexible display that can be reconfigured from a compact state to a plurality of expanded states. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of each of the expanded states is roughly the size of a tablet computer. An internal mechanism is provided for synching the motion of the device’s expansion with the motion of the flexible display’s end plate which provides a force to guide the display around the roller located at the edge of the device. The device may further include an integrated speaker and microphone, and sensors to indicate the expanded position of the display. In one embodiment, a module attached to, situated within, or otherwise associated with the device may contain all or substantially all processing and memory, along with a communications system.

A display device is provided. The display device includes: a flexible display panel; a flexible plate disposed at a rear of the display panel, and coupled to the display panel; a driving module coupled to a rear of the plate and having a slider that linearly reciprocates; a first wing elongated with a first end being coupled to the slider and a second end being coupled to the rear of the plate, and having a pivot shaft disposed adjacent to the first end between the first end and the second end; a first wing bracket fixed to the rear of the plate at a position adjacent to the pivot shaft of the first wing, and coupled to the pivot shaft of the first wing; a second wing elongated with a first end being coupled to the slider and a second end being coupled to the rear of the plate, and having a pivot shaft disposed adjacent to the first end between the first end and the second end, to be symmetric to the first wing with respect to the slider; and a second wing bracket fixed to the rear of the plate at a position adjacent to the pivot shaft of the second wing, and coupled to the pivot shaft of the second wing.

A conductive ink is provided, which includes an ink solvent and a conductive composition dispersed in the ink solvent. The conductive composition includes a silver nanoparticle and a molecular chain of polyaniline formed on a surface of the silver nanoparticle. A method for preparing a conductive ink and a flexible display device are further provided. The conductive ink has good film forming property and good conductivity.

An electronic device includes: a main body to which a rotating shaft is rotatably connected; a driving motor, provided on the main body, connected to the rotating shaft and configured to drive the rotating shaft to rotate; a flexible display screen, having a first side edge connected to the rotating shaft and capable of completely rolling the flexible display screen onto the rotating shaft or expanding the rolled-up flexible display screen, under a reciprocating rotation of the rotating shaft; and a sucking apparatus provided on the main body and configured to suck the electronic device onto a surface of a carrier.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a flexible panel and a supporting sheet. The flexible panel has a foldable region with a folding axis. The supporting sheet is disposed under the flexible panel. The supporting sheet includes a foldable portion that overlaps the foldable region. The foldable portion includes a plurality of strip parts arranged in a first direction (which is perpendicular to the folding axis) and a plurality of edge parts. Each of the edge parts connects to the ends of at least two of the strip parts. One of the edge parts has a first width in the first direction and a first length in the second direction, which is parallel to the folding axis. The ratio of the first length to the first width is greater than 2.

A display device includes a display module extending in a first direction, a supporting portion disposed under the display module and which supports a part of the display module, a first driving part connected to a first end of the display module to roll and unroll the display module, a connecting portion connected to a second end of the display module, and a second driving part connected to the connecting portion to roll and unroll the connecting portion. The second driving part unrolls the connecting portion when the first driving part rolls the display module, and the second driving part rolls the connecting portion when the first driving part unrolls the display module.

A display apparatus includes: a substrate having a display area and a peripheral area outside the display area; a first conductive layer on the substrate in the peripheral area and comprising a first hole; a second conductive layer on the first conductive layer and overlapping the first conductive layer, the second conductive layer comprising a second hole; a planarization layer extending from the display area to the peripheral area and comprising at least two organic insulating layers between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer; and a display element on the planarization layer in the display area, wherein a part of a portion of the second conductive layer except for the second hole is in contact with a part of a portion of the first conductive layer except for the first hole.

An electronic device includes a flexible display, a capacitive fingerprint sensor, a driving circuit and a plurality of signal lines. The flexible display includes a plurality of light emitting diodes. The capacitive fingerprint sensor is disposed on the flexible display. The plurality of the signal lines is electrically connected to the capacitive fingerprint sensor and the driving circuit.

A display module includes a panel part, a first supporting member, a second supporting member, a shielding member, and a stretchable member. The panel part includes a pixel array to display an image. The first supporting member is disposed under the panel part. The second supporting member is disposed under the panel part and adjacent to the first supporting member in a first direction. The shielding member covers a boundary area between the first supporting member and the second supporting member. The stretchable member is extended to the shielding member and disposed under the first supporting member or the second supporting member. An elongation of the stretchable member is greater than an elongation of the shielding member.

A display device includes a display module which is foldable and includes a first non-folding area, a folding area and a second non-folding area, in order, a first plate corresponding to the first non-folding area, a second plate corresponding to the second non-folding area and spaced apart from the first plate, and a cover film facing the display module with both the first plate and the second plate therebetween. The cover film includes a first film corresponding to each of the first non-folding area, the folding area and the second non-folding area, the first film attached to each of the first and second plates, and at the folding area, a second film attached to the first film. The display module which is folded disposes the second film between the first film and the first plate and between the first film and the second plate.
