Vertical Grill With External Drip Tray Module
A vertical grill comprises a back chimney within the housing having an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is in the form of one or more first openings in the back frame member, and the outlet being a second opening which is higher than the inlet. A first air intake located in at least one of the grill's panels. A removable tray module comprises a slide positioned at an incline between the front and back sides, configured to direct fats and break away solids to the front side of the tray. At least one channel is covered by the slide and configured for air flow. An external receptacle is positioned at the front side of the tray, wherein the slide leads into the receptacle so that fats and break away solids may be channeled into the external receptacle after traveling downwards along the incline of the slide.
OPERATING SYSTEM FOR A COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance, system, and method use one or more split-surface-area radiative heating elements and may also use one or more additional heating elements, such as microwave and convection heating elements, to heat or cook food. The radiative heating elements are used in a cooking chamber having an improved geometry. A controller includes features to adaptively learn and adjust cooking recipes based on modifications and user ratings of a particular cooking recipe or based on learning in response to analysis of modifications and user ratings of plural cooking recipes. The controller may learn from ratings of other users of similar cooking appliances via a network connection.
Tortilla toaster
An improved tortilla toaster that batch heats on two sides simultaneously up to six tortillas where each tortilla is held an optimal distance away from heating source and the oven is unloaded by barrel-rolling the oven assembly so as to avail of gravity and tortilla shape to unload the oven.
Infrared toaster
An infrared toaster and a method of toasting use a support configured to hold a food product relative to an infrared source. A light source and a camera are arranged relative to the support to illuminate the food product and capture digital images of the food product. A processor receives and analyzes successive images from the camera. The processor operates the IR source to achieve a predetermined toasting level of the food product. The processor operates the IR source to terminate operation directing IR energy when the predetermined toasting level is reached.
Food Toasting Device
A food toasting device for selectively heating occupied toasting slots includes a housing. A plurality of walls, which are coupled to the housing, define a plurality of chambers. A plurality of slots is positioned in a top of the housing. A power module is coupled to the housing. Each of a plurality of heating elements is selectively couplable to the power module and is positioned on a respective opposing side of an associated chamber. Each of a plurality of lifts is coupled to the housing and positioned in an associated chamber. The lifts are spring loaded and are configured to operate independently. Each slot is configured to insert a food item, such as a piece of bread, into an associated chamber. The lift is configured to lower the food item into the associated chamber. The heating elements are configured to toast the food item.

Heating appliance
A heating appliance generally includes a housing defining a food product compartment, and a rack configured to support a food product within the food product compartment. The heating appliance further includes a heating assembly disposed within the food product compartment. The heating assembly includes a heating element having a length, wherein the heating element is configured to have a temperature increase along the length during heating. The heating assembly further includes a heat distribution member disposed between the heating element and the rack, wherein the heat distribution member includes a pattern of apertures that tapers in accordance with the temperature increase of the heating element.

Non-electric, compact, variable width, perpendicular action stovetop toaster based on reflected infrared radiation (IR)
A non-electric stovetop toaster that functions on various types of cooktops and is accommodative of various sizes and thicknesses of food contents. It folds flat to occupy a small, book sized volume and is designed for small kitchens (e.g. boats, motorhomes, cottages, apartments . . . ) where countertop space is too limited for an electric toaster. As with an electric toaster, both sides of the food contents are toasted simultaneously whereby good, even toasting results are produced through the combined action of A) IR diffusers, B) IR reflective sidewalls and C) an air filled heat shield.
Grilling apparatus
A grilling apparatus for bacon or other thinly sliced meat. The apparatus includes a base with sidewalls extending from opposite ends of the base. A pair of doors are coupled to opposite sides of the base and movable from an open position to a closed position. A pair of grill plates are removably connected to a corresponding one of the doors. A heating element extends from the base between the side walls. A removable grill is placed over the heating element between the said side walls. When the doors are in the closed position, the grill and the grill plates form an enclosed space, so that when power is supplied to the heating element, heat generated by the heating element is provided by convection to the grill and the grill plates.
