OPTICAL MODULE AND AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE COMPRISING THEREOF
An optical module includes a transmitter configured to pass light from a light source; an emitter integrally formed with the transmitter, and configured to emit light that has passed through the transmitter to outside of the optical module; and a converter covering at least a portion of the emitter, and configured to change a wavelength of light that has passed through the transmitter such that light emitted from the converter and light emitted from the emitter have different wavelengths.
AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE
An aerosol generating device includes an accommodation portion into which an aerosol generating article is inserted, a heater configured to hear the aerosol generating article inserted in the accommodation portion, a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the heater, and a controller configured to acquire temperature data of the heater based on the temperature of the heater measured by the temperature sensor. The controller may generate a reuse detection signal based on a change in the temperature data which is caused by the insertion of the aerosol generating article.
AEROSOL-GENERATING SYSTEM HAVING A CARTRIDGE AND A BYPASS AIR INLET
An aerosol-generating system (includes a cartridge, a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, and an aerosol-generating device. The cartridge includes a cartridge housing and a solid aerosol-forming substrate. The aerosol-generating device includes a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the cartridge, an airflow inlet, and an airflow sensor. The airflow sensor is in fluid communication with the airflow inlet and the cavity). The aerosol-generating device includes a bypass air inlet in fluid communication with the cavity, an electric heater configured to heat the liquid aerosol-forming substrate, a power supply, and a controller. The aerosol-generating system is configured so that the cartridge housing substantially prevents airflow through the bypass air inlet when the cartridge is received within the cavity.
An Aerosol Generating Article and an Aerosol Generating System
An aerosol generating article for use with an aerosol generating device including a magnetic field generator includes first and second compartments configured to contain respectively a first aerosol generating substance and a second aerosol generating substance, and an inductively heatable susceptor configured to be inductively heated by the magnetic field generator. The inductively heatable susceptor has a first part positioned in the first compartment and a second part positioned in the second compartment. Each of the first and second aerosol generating substances includes a solid matrix and the first and second parts of the inductively heatable susceptor are secured in the solid matrix.
