LIGHTING DEVICE WITH BATTERY BACKUP
A lighting device controller includes a power supply, a switch, a battery, and a status indicator. The switch can be set to either an AC only or battery backup position, indicating whether the lighting device controller provides a battery backup signal to the lighted sign. When set to the battery backup position, the lighting device controller powers the lighted sign and charges the battery. If AC power is lost while in the battery backup mode, backup power is supplied from the battery to the lighted sign. The status indicators behavior changes as a function of the switch position to indicate whether AC power is present in the AC only mode or in the battery backup mode indicates one color for AC present and battery charging, and provides a second color to indicate battery not present or low.
ELECTRIC SIGN DEVICE
An electric sign device can include a backboard; first and second metal strips attached to the backboard; a plurality of LED assemblies, each LED assembly comprising: a board; first and second metal contacts attached to a first side of the board; first and second magnets attached to the first and second metal contacts, respectively; the first and second metal contacts contacting the first and second metal strips, respectively; a plurality of LEDs disposed on a second side of the board, the plurality of LEDs being electrically connected to the first and second metal contacts; and a carrier having one or more channels or apertures that receive the plurality of LEDs, the carrier being attached to the board; wherein the first and second magnets are magnetically attached to the first and second metal strips, respectively, so that the each LED assembly is magnetically attached to the backboard.
Illuminated address assembly
An illuminated address assembly includes a housing that is attachable to an exterior wall of a building such that the housing is visible to an individual approaching the building. A light emitter is integrated into the housing to emit light outwardly from the housing. A communication unit is integrated into the housing and the communication unit receives a delivery command from a personal electronic device. The light emitter is turned on when the delivery driver passes within a trigger distance of the building to facilitate the delivery driver to visually identify the building as the destination for the delivery. A placard is insertable into the opening in the housing with indicia that is illuminated by the light emitter to facilitate the delivery driver approaching the building to read the address of the building.

Graphic sheet and lighting system using graphic sheet
A graphic sheet including: a transparent rigid film substrate; and a receptor layer disposed on the transparent rigid film substrate, the receptor layer containing an acrylic polymer and a white pigment filler; wherein the receptor layer contains not less than 5 parts by mass and not more than 50 parts by mass of the white pigment filler per 100 parts by mass of the acrylic polymer; and a total visible light transmittance of the sheet is not less than 8% and not greater than 50% is described.
MACHINE INDICATOR LIGHT WITH BUILT-IN STATUS MESSAGE
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a light device with a programmable display. In an illustrative example, a linear multi-mode programmable indicator light (LMPIL) may include a housing extending along a longitudinal axis having a display surface. For example, the LMPIL may include an indicator light, and a programmable display coupled to the housing. For example, the indicator light may emit a light indicium orthogonal to the display surface. For example, the programmable display may display a predetermined visual indicium along a longitudinal axis through the display surface when the indicator light emits the light indicium. For example, based on predetermined associations between light indicia and corresponding predetermined visual indicia, the programmable display may display the predetermined visual indicium as the corresponding predetermined interpretation of the light indicium based on the predetermined associations. Various embodiments may advantageously display preconfigured messages with corresponding light indicia on any visible surface.
