Rotating lighting decoration
A rotating lighting decoration includes an aqueous sphere, a magnetic moving member, a fixed decoration piece, a suspending decoration piece, and a base. The magnetic moving member, the fixed decoration piece, and the suspending decoration piece are arranged in the aqueous sphere. The aqueous sphere is filled with a flowable liquid. The fixed decoration piece is fixed to a bottom of the aqueous sphere and located at a periphery of the magnetic moving member. The suspending decoration piece is arranged at a periphery of the fixed decoration piece. The base is mounted to the bottom of the aqueous sphere and includes a magnetic rotary axle that magnetically attracts the magnetic moving member. When rotating, the magnetic rotary axle drives the magnetic moving member to rotate and thus disturb the liquid inside the aqueous sphere to flow and drive the suspending decoration piece to rotate relative to the fixed decoration piece.
Modular sign
A modular sign may comprise a base portion and an upright portion. The base portion may include an upright portion aperture in a top surface of the base. The upright portion may include an interlocking portion forming a lower end of the upright portion. The interlocking portion is configured to be inserted into the upright portion aperture of the base portion.
Kinetic display for depicting changes in economic or other data
A kinetic display has a base, and an elongated member pivotally attached to the base in the manner of a seesaw. A processor communicates with a data source such as the internet, obtains current values of dynamically changing data (such as the current value of a stock market index), and pivots the elongated member in response to changes in the data. Figurines which symbolize the monitored data, such as a bull and a bear (representing rising and falling stock market values), are respectively provided at opposing ends of the member. By observing the inclination of the elongated member, and/or the relative positions of the figurines thereon, a user can determine the current status of monitored data.

A reactive media system includes a motion control system having an animated figure with a body and actuators configured to adjust a figure portion of the body in response to interactive data received from one or more interactive data sources. The reactive media system includes a media control system having a tracking camera configured to generate signals indicative of a current position and orientation of the figure portion based on a set of trackers coupled to the figure portion. The media control system includes a media controller configured to receive the signals, determine the current position and orientation based on the signals, and generate data indicative of images to be projected onto an external surface of the figure portion having the current position and orientation. The media control system also includes a projector configured to receive the data from the media controller and project the images onto the external surface.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND ROBOT APPARATUS
To provide an information processing apparatus and an information processing method for executing processing for causing an interactive apparatus to actuate an action leading to advertising promotion, and a robot apparatus. An information processing apparatus includes: a determination unit that determines that a trigger according to which an interactive apparatus should actuate an expressive motion leading to advertising promotion has been generated; and a decision unit that decides an expressive motion of the interactive apparatus on the basis of the determined trigger. The determination unit detects a trigger on the basis of a recognition result of a detection signal of a sensor that detects a state of surroundings of the interactive apparatus, and determines an interest level indicated by the trigger. Then, the decision unit decides an expressive motion of the interactive apparatus leading to advertising promotion according to the interest level.
