The visibility of the external scene from the inside of the transmissive transparent screen when the video image is not displayed and the visibility of the video image from the outside when the video image is displayed are satisfied.

In a video image display system comprising a projection device 100 and a transmissive transparent screen 1 having a first surface and a second surface on the opposite side of the first surface, having a visible light transmittance of at least 5[%], and displaying video images projected from the projection device 100 installed on the first surface side, as video images visible to an observer on the second surface side, the following formula 1 is satisfied:

−1.5≤ln(((B/A)/IG)≤3.9  Formula 1 in the formula 1, A is the projection area [m.sup.2] of the projection device 100, B is the luminous flux [lm] projected onto A by the projection device 100, I is the ambient illuminance [lx] at the side of the second surface, and G is the screen gain of the transparent screen 1.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PROJECTING HOLIDAY DECORATIONS TO A DWELLING
20220171523 · 2022-06-02 ·

A system, apparatus, and method for projecting holiday decorations onto a dwelling or structure. The home laser projected Christmas lighting system allows the homeowner to eliminate the risk of applying traditional holiday decorations, eliminates the purchase, storage, and maintenance/repair costs of conventional holiday decorations while obtaining a customized and personalized holiday motif for their dwelling. A method includes: taking a photograph of the dwelling; uploading the photograph of the dwelling to a computer; importing the photograph into a computer application configured to enable the user to apply a plurality of graphical representations of a holiday decoration to a design template image and saving the selected one or more holiday decorations as a projection image; and transferring the projection image to a laser projection device configured to project the projection image onto the dwelling at the points selected on the design template image.

Optical gradation system and method

Disclosed are an optical gradation system and method. The optical gradation system comprises: a first device configured to emit broad-spectrum linearly polarized light in a first polarization direction; a second device provided with at least one first region for splitting lights of different wavelengths mixed in the broad-spectrum linearly polarized light incident by the first device into emergent lights in different polarization directions without changing a beam propagation path; a third device configured to filter out linearly polarized light in a second polarization direction from the emergent lights from the second device in different polarization directions; and, a rotator configured to drive at least one of the first device, the second device and the third device to rotate, wherein the first device, the second device and the third device are arranged coaxially.

Projection system and projection operation method

The disclosure provides a projection system and a projection operation method. The projection operation method causes the projection device disposed inside the biologically-modeled housing to project the facial image onto the face projection area of the biologically-modeled housing. The face projection area is light-transmissive and curved. The controller identifies the voice signal received by the sound-receiving device. When the controller obtains the identification result, if the projection data stored in the storage device includes the target projection data corresponding to the identification result, the controller controls the projection device to project the facial image according to the target projection data, or, if the projection data stored in the storage device does not include the target projection data, the controller controls the communication device to receive the target projection data from the external device and stores it in the storage device.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EMULATING A HEADLAMP THAT IS PARTIALLY COVERED BY A MASK
20230260432 · 2023-08-17 · ·

The invention relates to a method and a device for emulating a headlamp that is partially covered by a mask. In order to make it possible to implement a lighting design that is independent of any pre-settings in the headlamps using inexpensive and readily available lighting components while retaining existing lighting control protocols, according to the invention: a two-dimensional pattern is retrieved from a pattern memory (4) in accordance with a pattern channel value of a lighting control protocol and is transformed in accordance with transformation channel values of the lighting control protocol, after which the transformed pattern is converted into a raster image, the pattern pixels of which are brighter by at least 20% than the remaining pattern-free pixels; and the raster image is output as a headlight by means of a digital projector (8).

Special effects communication techniques

A special effects communication system may include a camera system at a first location that generates a first dataset based on one or more images or impressions of a first user at the first location. The special effects communication system may also include a control system communicatively coupled to the camera system and a special effects system. The control system may receive a second dataset corresponding to a second user present at a second location or to one or more users at one or more locations while the first user is present at the first location. The control system may also provide one or more control signals to cause the special effects system at the first location to generate special effects to present a visual and/or auditory likeness of the second user using special effects material and/or mediums.
