A back unit is configured for placement at a predetermined position associated with one of the parking spaces in said parking lot. A cover is mounted to said back unit such that said back unit and said cover form an enclosed compartment. An electronic display is positioned within said enclosed compartment and is configured to display the advertising images. A controller is in electronic communication with the electronic display. A battery is electrically connected to said electronic display.

A device for marking a starting point on a running track. A plurality of spikes is affixed to a bottom surface of a planar member. A top surface of the planar member can receive print thereon. The plurality of spikes can be inserted into a running track. A plurality of conical covers houses the plurality of spikes when the plurality of spikes is not inserted into a running track. The planar member can be rectangular with a spike disposed in each corner on the bottom surface.

The decal may be installed on a wood floor by laminating a clear layer to a visible layer, roughening an outer surface of the clear layer and applying a floor finish to the outer surface of the clear layer after the roughening step. An adhesion promotion layer may also be applied between the clear layer and the floor finish layer.

Alternatively, the image (214) can include at least one of a professional athlete, a non-professional athlete, an athletically-involved person, an entertainer, an actor, a historical figure and a public figure. The surface collectible (10) may further include an autograph (418) inscribed on the surface member (12) and/or on the textile (316).

Disclosed is a road sign plate comprising: a base plate (2); a series of LEDs (4) disposed on said base plate; and power-supply means connected to said series of LEDs. In particular, the road sign plate comprises: a first resin layer (1) that covers at least the base plate (2); and a second resin layer (7) disposed on said first resin layer, said second resin layer (7) being of a translucent material. The road sign plate is a low cost plate, with high electro-mechanical strength and improved translucency properties.

A vehicle curb with advertising system including a bottom panel that is connected to a lower curved panel which is then connected to an upper curved panel. These panels distribute axial and translational forces, imparted by the vehicle's tires, by taking advantage of corrugation and curved designs. Further, the upper curved panel is connected to an upper retaining lip, which is then connected to a front concave panel, which is then connected to a lower front retaining lip. The two retaining lips contact the vehicle's tires and together with the concave panel, distribute the externally applied forces throughout the system. Further, the two front retaining lips provide an attaching means for a user to attach a logo or advertisement to the system. The system also has pads connected to the bottom panel that resist the externally applied forces by gripping the underlying floor, thus effectively stopping the vehicle without slippage.
