3D decorative add on
A decorative add-on in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is structured and arranged to be attached to an article such as a shoe. The decorative add-on includes an aesthetic portion and an attachment portion. Typically, the aesthetic portion is prominently or noticeably 3D. The attachment portion is removably attached to the shoe. The attachment portion has a medial section, and two elongate insert sections at opposite sides of the medial section. The medial section is fixed to an inner side of the aesthetic portion. The insert sections are slidingly engaged in two matching elongate sheaths provided on the shoe. The attachment portion can be made of flexible resilient material. This facilitates convenient insertion of the insert sections into the sheaths, and secure retention of the insert sections in the sheaths. Further or alternatively, the insert sections can include magnetic material and flexible, resilient material.
Vehicle bodywork display screen
A bodywork panel (13,28) for a vehicle such as a racing car (1,2) or a racing motor cycle (27) is fitted with one or more optically clear panels (16), which are profiled to follow the aerodynamic form of the bodywork panel (13,28). A flexible reflective display screen (17), for examples based on e-paper, is mounted to an inner face of each optically clear panel (16) such that an image on the display screen (17) is visible outside the vehicle through the optically clear panel (16). A paint finish on the bodywork panel (13,28) continues over a peripheral region of each optically clear panel (16), concealing a join between it and the bodywork panel (13,28). Images displayed on the display screens (17) via a display controller (25) can thus appear like painted graphics on the bodywork panel (13,28), except that they may be changed as desired. Thus, graphics on the vehicle, such as advertising and sponsorship logos, can be changed at will during a race. Leathers (30,40) worn by racing motor cyclists can be fitted with similar display screens (17) mounted behind optically clear flexible plastic panels (42) sewn to the leathers (30,40).
Systems for simulating joining operations using mobile devices
Systems are disclosed relating to a mobile device mounted to a welding helmet such that a wearer of the welding helmet can see a display of the mobile device when wearing the welding helmet. In some examples, the mobile device is mounted such that a camera of the mobile device is unobscured and positioned at approximately eye level, facing the same way the wearer's eyes are facing. In some examples, the simulated training environment may be presented to the user via the display screen of the mobile device, using images captured by the camera of the mobile device, when the mobile device is so mounted to the welding helmet.
Concealable Identification Sleeve
The concealable identification sleeve (hereafter, the sleeve) is configured to be worn on an arm of a user. The sleeve is capable of transitioning from compact and concealed to expanded and highly visible. The sleeve includes a first end having a first ring and a second end having a second ring. The first and second rings each define an opening and include complementary connection mechanisms. A body portion is disposed between the first ring and the second ring. The body transitions from a concealed state to an expanded state between the first and second rings. In the concealed state, the first and second rings are positioned at a first length L.sub.1 from each other and in the expanded state the first and second rings are positioned at a length L.sub.2 from each other that is greater than the first length L.sub.1.
Electronic price label and a battery unit for an electronic price label
Battery unit for an electronic price label and an electronic price label, which includes a separate, external, replaceable battery unit having a battery, and a fastening means, which may be detachably fasten the battery unit to the frame part of the electronic price label.
LOW BREAKING LOAD CARE LABEL
The present invention relates to a garment care label having a low tensile strength and a soft hand feel. In one embodiment, the label may be inexpensive and may be easily torn in order to ensure that customers can easily and deliberately remove the label, or parts of the label, should the label or any part thereof be irritating or unnecessary. In some exemplary embodiments, the label may be formed from a woven or non-woven base material, such as viscose, natural fibers, or a blend, and may be coated with polyurethane in a dip coagulation coat process. The label may then be printed on using any of a variety of methods, such as thermal transfer printing, inkjet printing, or flexographic printing.
Electronically customizable articles
Some implementations of this disclosure provide an electronically customizable article comprising a fashion article selected from the group consisting of a handbag, a shoe, glasses, a tie, and a bowtie wherein the fashion article comprises an electronic visual display, a processor, a communication interface for communication between the fashion article and a network, and a non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the fashion article to connect to a server over the network, receive data from the server, and display one or more images associated with the data on the electronic visual display.
Removable accessory mount
A removable accessory mount that includes and outside support on the outside of an item that is secured to an inside support located on an inner surface of the item. The inside and outside supports are secured to one another via a support post that can be a threaded post, a pin, etc. The outer surface of the outside support attaches to accessories that can be removed from the outside support and replaced with other items. Likewise, the accessories can be moved to other accessory mounts. In addition, the accessory mount can also be moved from one item to another without substantial damage due to the small nature of the support post that secures the inside and outside supports together.
HELMET AND INFORMATION CARRIER
A helmet including a protective head covering, information carrier, adhesive, and flap. The information carrier includes a first panel having a terminal edge, and a second panel having a fold line. The second panel is joined to the first panel to define a pouch having an interior space and an opening to the interior space. The opening is defined by the terminal edge disposed proximately to the first panel below the fold line. The adhesive is configured to affix the first panel to the exterior surface. The flap is pivotally attached to the second panel about the fold line, wherein the second panel is bendable away from the exterior surface at least between the terminal edge and the fold line to enable the flap to pivot about the fold line toward the exterior surface in connection with insertion of the flap into and removal of the flap from the opening.
