Card holders for personalized and customized display of interchangeable cards are disclosed.

A novelty button illumination device comprises a circular disk body having a circumferential rim. A recess is provided in the rim that holds in place one or more glow sticks. The illumination device engages a novelty button by either the novelty button's pre-existing pin-and-clutch fastening device or by a fastening device affixed to the illumination device. When engaged, the device together with the novelty pin may be worn on clothing and the like. The glow sticks are bent and snapped to activate a chemical light producing reaction and after such activation may be placed into the recess. Thereafter, during the time the glow sticks continue to glow, the novelty pin is illuminated by the glow sticks in the circumferential rim, enhancing the user's enjoyment in using the novelty pin illuminating device.

An equestrian identification system including a series of character presentation panels attached to a panel receiving patch. A dense hook interface is provided upon an interface surface of the character presentation panels. A dense loop interface is provided upon an interface surface of the panel receiving patch. The panel receiving patch is applied to an area of a saddle pad, an equestrian's attire, or other object. One character image is provided upon a viewing surface of each respective character presentation panel. The character image is selected from an image group, where the image group consists of a set of numbers within a range of 0 through 9, a set of alphabet letters within a range of A through Z, and a complete set of grammatical characters included within ASCII code languages. The panel receiving patch can be colored to compliment the object to which is it being applied thereon.

A garment system is provided, including: a main component configured to be worn by a user, the main component having a flexible display portion and a sensor; a detachable component configured to be detachably coupled to the main component; wherein the sensor detects when the detachable component is attached to, or detached from, the main component, and responsively triggers a change in imagery presented on the flexible display portion in response to said attachment or detachment of the detachable component.
