A garment having audio-video display capabilities, has a garment body bearing a a video display device. The display device is preferably mounted to a surface of the garment body whereby it cannot be seen unless activated. An audio reproduction device is also mounted to the garment body. Both the video and audio display/reproduction devices are controlled by a microprocessor system likewise mounted to the garment body. The processor system is capable of receiving video and audio data and control signals from a remote source, such as a smartphone, over a wireless communications system, such a Bluetooth system. In addition, the garment may itself have a camera and microphone to allow the wearer to record audio-visual material and display it on the garment system.

A foam hand is provided with the fingers and thumb extended outwardly in an open hand gesture. The hand includes a plurality of openings or slots into which the fingers and thumb can be selectively inserted for retention, and thereby configure the hand in multiple gestures. This positioning also improves the visibility of the indicia printed on the object through the mesh member. Methods of providing a memento from a competitive athletic event using the protective pockets are also disclosed herein.

According to the present invention, there is provided a fabric substrate for mounting a light emitting element. The fabric substrate comprises a fabric layer including at least one fabric, a stress buffer layer that is disposed on the fabric layer and minimizes an occurrence of physical strain and stress caused by bending the fabric layer, and a flattening layer that is disposed on the stress buffer layer and provides a flat surface to allow a light emitting element to operate.

A visual advertisement assembly includes a sign that may be displayed. A plurality of light emitters is provided and each of the light emitters is coupled to the sign. Each of the light emitters selectively emits light and the light emitters are arranged into a plurality of sets of light emitters. A plurality of controllers is provided and each of the controllers is coupled to the sign. Each of the controllers is electrically coupled to an associated one of the sets of light emitters. Each of the controllers actuates the light emitters to emit light in a selected pattern. The selected pattern resembles a selected phrase. Thus, the plurality of light emitters may advertise a message.

The present technology relates to a display module which enables the display module capable of improving a design quality of a product to be applied to various types of products. The display module is provided with a flexible sheet-shaped display unit, a switch unit which switches a display pattern of the display unit, and a control unit which controls a display pattern of the display unit on the basis of a switch control signal from the switch unit. The display unit is electrically connected to the control unit, and the control unit is electrically connected to the switch unit by using a wiring cable. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a bag and the like a display pattern of which may be changed.

An apparatus for an extendable display strip, the apparatus includes a first display panel coupled to a second display panel, where the second display panel is capable of extending and retracting beneath a bottom surface of the first display panel. The apparatus also includes an elastic based coupled to the first display panel and the second display panel, where a first portion of the bottom surface of the first display panel is coupled to the elastic base and a first portion of a bottom surface of the second display panel is coupled to the elastic base, where the extending and the retracting of the second display panel beneath the bottom surface of the first display panel is based on an extending and a retracting of the elastic base.

An apparatus for an extendable display strip, the apparatus includes a first display panel coupled to a second display panel, where the second display panel is capable of extending and retracting beneath a bottom surface of the first display panel. The apparatus also includes an elastic based coupled to the first display panel and the second display panel, where a first portion of the bottom surface of the first display panel is coupled to the elastic base and a first portion of a bottom surface of the second display panel is coupled to the elastic base, where the extending and the retracting of the second display panel beneath the bottom surface of the first display panel is based on an extending and a retracting of the elastic base.

A dynamically flexible article or device, such as an armband, includes a flexible electronic component, such as a flexible electronic display, and a flexible support structure coupled to the flexible electronic component, wherein the flexible support and the flexible electronic component are flexible along two dimensions to thereby be able to conform to a complex curved surface. The flexible support includes bending limiting structure that constrains bending of the flexible electronic component to prevent undesirable bending.
