Free-form light field displays for VR/AR headsets
A head mounted display for virtual reality imaging includes a pixel array including multiple pixels configured in a two-dimensional surface, each pixel providing multiple light beams forming an image provided to a user. The head mounted display also includes a first optical element to provide a central portion of a field of view for the image through an eyebox that limits a volume including a pupil of the user, and a second optical element to provide a peripheral portion of the field of view for the image through the eyebox. The second optical element includes a lenslet array to provide a segmented view of the peripheral portion of the field of view that includes at least one of a free form lenslet, a liquid crystal lenslet, a Fresnel lenslet, or a pancake lenslet. A system and a method for using the above head mounted display are also provided.
FLAG FOOTBALL SYSTEM
A flag system includes a flag carrier and a flag unit. The flag unit includes a flag, and a flag coupler connected to the flag and configured to be releasably connected to the flag carrier. The flag unit is user reconfigurable between a first flag unit separation difficulty state and a second flag unit separation difficulty state.
Fabric substrate and manufacturing method thereof
According to the present invention, there is provided a fabric substrate for mounting a light emitting element. The fabric substrate comprises a fabric layer including at least one fabric, a stress buffer layer that is disposed on the fabric layer and minimizes an occurrence of physical strain and stress caused by bending the fabric layer, and a flattening layer that is disposed on the stress buffer layer and provides a flat surface to allow a light emitting element to operate.
