System and apparatus for making, mounting and using externally-mounted digital displays on moving objects
A hyper relevant digital surface (HDS) may be designed, fitted, formed and attached to conform closely to a target vehicle's body surfaces. Certain embodiments may use Thin Film Transistor (TFT) flexible (or rigid) display products to enhance or disguise their presence by displaying imagery to visually or aesthetically replicate in real-time the original vehicle's surface or to alter or morph any vehicle body surfaces (shape, color, lighting, reflections, details, features or components, etc.) underneath. Embodiments designed to utilize license plate recess for integration, mechanical and electrical connection, temperature control, and display of license plate information are disclosed.
Micro LED module with flexible multilayer circuit substrate
A micro-LED module is disclosed. The micro-LED module includes a flexible circuit board and a plurality of LED pixels mounted on the flexible circuit board. Each of the plurality of LED pixels includes a first micro-LED chip, a second micro-LED chip, and a third micro-LED chip. Each of the first micro-LED chip, the second micro-LED chip, and the third micro-LED chip has at least one side whose length is 100 m or less. Each of the first micro-LED chip, the second micro-LED chip, and the third micro-LED chip includes one or more electrode pads having a width of 80 m or less on the surface facing the flexible circuit board. The flexible circuit board includes a first flexible insulating film including electrode patterns formed on the upper surface thereof and connected to the electrode pads through solder bumps having a diameter of 80 m or less and a second flexible insulating film connected to the bottom of the first flexible insulating film through a first conductive pattern. The first flexible insulating film includes a first via hole having the same cross-sectional shape and area from the upper to the lower end and a first via formed in the first via hole. The first via hole of the first flexible insulating film is connected to a portion of the first conductive pattern.

A display device for a vehicle includes a display portion that displays, toward at least one of an exterior or an interior of the vehicle, driving control information, the driving control information including at least one of first information, expressing how driving of the vehicle is being controlled, or second information, originating at the vehicle and being able to affect a traveling state of the vehicle.
FRUNK DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
A front trunk (frunk) delivery system is disclosure for a vehicle. For one embodiment, the delivery system includes a vehicle trunk at a front portion of the vehicle. The system includes a vehicle trunk lid covering the vehicle trunk. The system includes a bar code at the vehicle. The bar code is to be captured by a mobile device of a first user to remotely operate the vehicle trunk lid for the vehicle trunk to deliver or retrieve (for returns) a delivery parcel/package. The first user can be a third party delivery operator such as a USPS or an Amazon delivery operator.

Methods and systems relating to a vehicle display are provided. One or more exterior vehicle body panels having an integral visual display portion are configured to show digital content and conform to the contours of the one or more exterior body panels. The visual display portion includes a light emitting portion and a covering portion. Additionally, one or more processors are configured to generate a signal received by the visual display portion and affect the digital content displayed by the visual display portion.
Flexible display screen systems and methods
A flexible display screen system and method includes an article that has a flexible material configured to cover at least a portion of a person's anatomy or at least a portion of an object. At least one flexible display screen is secured on the flexible material. A computer system is configured to provide image information for controlling a display of images on the flexible display screen. The computer system is configured to control the display of images on the flexible display screen in response to the sensor signal. The sensor may sense flexing of the flexible display screen or flexible material. Alternatively or in addition, the flexible display screen or flexible material may be controlled to flex, in response to the images displayed on the flexible display screen.
Vehicular display system
A vehicular outer panel is provided that is capable of displaying an image or a video which is easily viewed even outdoors under direct sunlight for people outside the vehicle. The vehicular outer panel includes: a transparent plate that is attached to a vehicle and constitutes an outer wall of a vehicle body; and a reflective display unit that is provided on an inner surface, in the inside/outside direction of the vehicle, of the transparent plate and is capable of displaying an image or a video for people outside the vehicle.

A method for forming an emergency lane on a multi-lane road on which multiple transportation vehicles are located on at least two parallel driving lanes and on which at least one emergency vehicle is located, wherein the emergency vehicle is connected to more than one of the transportation vehicles via a wireless communications connection to exchange data and the transportation vehicles are prompted to form an emergency lane via the wireless communications connection. A transportation vehicle having an apparatus for implementing the method.
System and method for monitoring a signage system of a transit vehicle
A sign-monitoring system includes at least one electronic sign and a controller comprising a processor and memory. The electronic sign includes a pixel array, the pixel array including a plurality of pixels. The electronic sign further includes an embedded controller coupled to the at least one electronic sign. The embedded controller develops diagnostic information for the at least one electronic sign, the diagnostic information including information related to a number of malfunctioning pixels in the plurality of pixels. The controller is communicably coupled to the embedded controller and receives at least a portion of the diagnostic information from the embedded controller. In addition, the controller assesses the at least a portion of the diagnostic information to develop health information. The assessment involves evaluating the information related to the number of malfunctioning pixels.
Vehicle video displays
A vehicle and a method of operating the vehicle may include activating a first touch screen, mounted on an exterior of the vehicle, illustrating a keypad and activating a first privacy screen in the first touch screen; and activating a second touch screen, mounted on the vehicle exterior, displaying information without activating a second privacy screen in the second touch screen. The touch screens may have built-in heaters, produce ads based on user distance from the vehicle and provide countdown timers for ride-share vehicle departure time.
