Attachment Solution for Attaching a Visual Media Display to a Vehicle
An attachment apparatus for attaching an electronic media display unit to a vehicle has a containing arrangement that goes over a portion or a whole of the electronic media display unit, and an adhesive arrangement to facilitate adhering the attachment apparatus, and thus facilitate attaching the electronic media display unit to an outside of the vehicle. A portion or a whole of the adhesive arrangement adheres to the outside of the vehicle, outside a portion or a whole of a perimeter of the electronic media display unit, to facilitate attachment.
Exterior facing multilayer display systems and methods of use
Exterior facing, multilayer display systems and methods of use are provided herein. An example method includes determining an amount of power for a multilayer display, the multilayer display having a first layer comprising a transparent display unit and a second layer comprising a reflective display unit, the second layer being bonded to the first layer, selecting the transparent display unit when the amount of the power is above a threshold amount, determining that amount of the power is above a threshold amount is below the threshold amount, and selecting the reflective display unit when the power is below the threshold amount.
Electronic display panels for buses
A display system mounted on one or more sides of a public transportation vehicle (e.g., a bus). The display system is interfaced with a portable computing device (e.g., a personal data assistant), where the portable computing device provides updated messages to be displayed on a display panel. The display system includes at least one display panel mounted on one side of a bus, facing outwards such that the display panels may be readily seen when the bus goes around. The display panel is mainly for displaying messages provided by the portable computing device but also for displaying default messages in a local storage device.
Vehicle mounted sign assembly and related methods
A vehicle mounted sign assembly comprises a base member having a top surface, a bottom surface, a leading edge, a trailing edge and side surfaces between the leading edges and the trailing edge, with the side surfaces tapering rearwardly to the trailing edge. The assembly further comprises a mounting assembly configured to support the base member. The mounting assembly comprises a first and a second vertical bars extending through respective openings on the bottom surface of the base member, a first and a second horizontal bars mounted in parallel and positioned between the first and second vertical bars, and a first and a second suction cups attached to respective bottom end of the first and second vertical bars for attachment to the body or a window of a vehicle.
Self-reacting message board
Disclosed is a digital sign system and method of use thereof. The system includes a digital sign having a controller board having a microcontroller, a temperature sensor communicably coupled to fans or a cooling/heating unit, an ambient light sensor, a GPS unit, a radar, a communication module, and a power source, wherein the controller board is in communication with an LED panel or another display module for digitally outputting messages, further wherein the digital sign is mounted on a pilot truck to allow the pilot truck to relay messages to a transport truck and oncoming vehicles. The digital sign is in communication with a second GPS unit disposed on the transport truck so as to track the real-time location of the truck. The digital sign measures the distance between a transport and the digital pilot truck sign and displays the relative distances between the two on the digital message board. In operation, the digital sign is configured to automatically adjust its brightness so as to optimize its visibility while reducing glare to other drivers on the road.

A multi-purpose signage assembly is provided. The multi-purpose signage assembly including a framework having a plurality of edges. The edges bounding opposing first and second panels. A first screen received by the first panel and a second screen received by the second panel. One of the plurality of edges having a plurality of slot assemblies. Another of the plurality of edges having a plurality of slot assemblies. A plurality of opposing magnets positioned in the plurality of slot assemblies of one of the edges or the slot assemblies of the other edge. The plurality of opposing magnets configured to attract each other in a manner such as to retain the opposing magnets in the slot assemblies. The plurality of opposing magnets further configured to attach the multi-purpose signage assembly to a ferrous surface with sufficient magnetic force to maintain the multi-purpose signage assembly in place.
Apparatus and method for using connected vehicles as an advertisement platform
By way of example, various methods for reproducing advertisements using a plurality of advertisement vehicles as well as controlling the plurality of advertisement vehicles are provided. In one example, a method for controlling a plurality of advertisement vehicles is provided as follows. Initially, information on the plurality of advertisement vehicles that are going to carry out a specific event is verified. Information on the specific event is sent to the plurality of advertisement vehicles and real-time traffic and/or people density information in an area in which the specific event is to be carried out is collected. A starting location of the specific event may also be determined based on at least one of: the real-time traffic density information or real-time location information of the plurality of advertisement vehicles. Then, driving route guidance with an initial destination set to the starting location of the specific event is sent to the plurality of advertisement vehicles such that the plurality of advertisement vehicles convenes at the starting location of the specific event.
Method and system for managing a critical incident operation
A method and system for managing law enforcement critical incident operations at a scene of the critical incident is described, including at least one writable panel adapted and constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident and to contain relevant information related to a critical incident. A plurality of matching portable forms contains a copy of an entire panel or part of a panel. The forms can be color-coded in the same way as the matching panel or part of a panel. The portable forms are constructed to be transported to the scene of the critical incident, and handed out to field officers at the scene of the critical incident. The officers can write information on the portable forms while executing the operation, and through the forms provide rapid and efficient feedback to a commander who is coordinating the operation with help of the matching panels.

Disclosed herein are vehicle emblems, automobiles with vehicle emblems, and methods of manufacturing vehicle emblems. A vehicle emblem for an automobile includes a bezel for mounting the emblem to the automobile's vehicle structure, such as the front grille, engine hood, or outer fascia panel. A rigid backing is seated within and attached to the bezel. The rigid backing includes one or more depressions and/or one or more ribs. A cover sheet lays against and is attached to the front-surface of the backing. The cover sheet includes a transparent layer or film with a multi-color print. The cover sheet includes one or more depressions and/or one or more ribs that are formed in the transparent layer. Each of the cover sheet's depressions is seated inside one of the rigid backing's depressions, while each of the rigid backing's ribs is seated inside one of the cover sheet's ribs.
