An apparatus can manage a folding performed on a flexible device. The apparatus includes a foldable display, at least one sensor coupled to the foldable display, and a processor. The at least one sensor includes at least two sensing elements each of the at least two sensing elements is arranged asymmetrically with respect to each other along the foldable display. The processor is configured to determine at least one of a location and an angle of folding of the foldable display based on sensed values detected from the at least two sensing elements. The processor is also configured to render content on the foldable display based on the location and the angle of the folding.
Digital content adjustment in a flexible display device
An embodiment for adjusting digital content in a flexible display device based on a surface profile of the flexible display device and viewing direction of a user is provided. The embodiment may include receiving a surface profile of a flexible display device. The embodiment may also include in response to determining the surface profile does not indicate that a flexible display device surface is flat, identifying a viewing direction of a user relative to the surface profile. The embodiment may further include identifying an optimal viewing configuration of the flexible display device. The embodiment may also include presenting the optimal viewing configuration to the user. The embodiment may further include adjusting a display of digital content on a screen of the flexible display device. The embodiment may also include receiving feedback from the user regarding a preferred viewing direction and a preferred configuration of the flexible display device.

According to various embodiments, there may be provided an electronic device comprising: a housing, a flexible display having a resizable region visible to an outside of the housing by at least a portion being moved from the inside to the outside of the housing, a communication circuit configured to enable transmitting or receiving data to or from an external electronic device, at least one sensor configured to identify a size of a region where the flexible display is visible to the outside of the housing, a memory, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: control the display to display a first content on first region of the flexible display visible to the outside of the housing, establish communication connection with an external electronic device through the communication circuit, transmit, based on the establishing of the communication connection, first information on the first content to the external electronic device through the communication circuit so that the external electronic device displays the first content, when a second region where the flexible display located inside the housing is visible to the outside of the housing, display second content on a third region including the first region and the second region, based on at least one value obtained using the at least one sensor, identify second information on the second content, to be transmitted to the external electronic device, based on the obtained at least one value, and transmit the identified second information to the external electronic device through the communication circuit so that the external electronic device displays the second content.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING ROLLABLE DISPLAY
An electronic device including a rollable display is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a main body, a first planar part disposed at one end of the main body, and a second planar part disposed at another end of the main body and disposed in parallel to the first planar part, a rollable display drawn out from an interior of the housing or inserted into the interior of the housing through a slit formed in a direction perpendicular to the first planar part, and a handler member combined with an end of the rollable display and including a first magnet. A second magnet having a polarity different from a polarity of the first magnet disposed within the main body so that the handler member is attached to a surface of the main body in a state in which a part of the rollable display has been drawn out from the interior of the housing.

One embodiment provides a method, including: identifying, using data obtained from at least one sensor associated with an information handling device, a multi-planar orientation of a non-flat display surface of the information handling device and a spatial orientation of the information handling device with respect to a user's gaze position; determining, using a processor and based on the identifying, a distortion of at least one object displayed on the non-flat display surface; and adjusting at least one aspect of the non-flat display surface to correct the distortion. DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS
At least two display areas are formed after an action such as folding a foldable screen of a device. The device displays a first display interface comprising a display interface of a first application. The device detects a first operation such as unfolding the screen and in response, displays a second display interface comprising a first display area and a second display area. The device displays the display interface of the first application in the first display area of the second display interface, and displays at least one application icon in the second display area of the second display interface. At least one application corresponding to the at least one application icon is associated with a first content in the display interface of the first application, and the at least one application comprises a first target application. The device detects a second operation acting on an application icon corresponding to the first target application and in response, displays a third display interface that comprises the first display area and the second display area. The device displays the display interface of the first application in the first display area of the third display interface, and displays, in the second display area of the third display interface, a first interface of the first target application, the first interface being associated with the first content.
