In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a media module and a modification module included in an embedded appliance. The media module is configured to receive a first media signal associated with a first input port of the embedded appliance and a second media signal associated with a second input port of the embedded appliance. The media module is configured to identify a first set of media signal parameters based on the first media signal. The modification module is configured to receive a modification instruction associated with a session format having a second set of media signal parameters different from the first set of media signal parameters. The modification module is configured to modify the first media signal based on the first set of media signal parameters and the modification instruction to produce a first modified media signal in the session format and having the second set of media signal parameters.

A system and method of adjusting a refresh rate to match a given remote desktop stream frame rate is described. The system may include a processing device to transmit, as a media stream, a portion of a remote desktop image with a frame rate that matches a refresh rate to a remote desktop client.

The disclosure is directed to a novel responsive layout that allows the user to build one layout that can fit on all or virtually all device form factors according to some embodiments. In some embodiments, the responsive layout is configured to allow users to arrange their content based on the size and shape of a display. In some embodiments, the system is configured to receive a request to access content through a computer and in response to the request, automatically generate a responsive layout based on a display size and a content of the request. In some embodiments, the responsive layout includes a responsive layout editor pane configured to allow the user to customize the responsive layout as desired.

Systems, methods, and non-transitory media are provided for dynamically switching frame rates without changing a display refresh rate. An example method can include receiving, from a display device associated with a computing device, a set of control signals indicating a display refresh rate implemented by the display device; adjusting a frame rate associated with application data from one or more applications executed on the computing device; synchronizing, based on the set of control signals, the adjusted frame rate with two or more display refresh cycles, each display refresh cycle being based on the display refresh rate; providing, to the display device, a first frame at the adjusted frame rate, the first frame being generated based on the application data; and displaying the first frame at the display device implementing the display refresh rate.

A method includes modeling, by a computing device, color saturation variations of different hues in a working color space with one or more properties of responses of a human vision system (HVS) to color stimulus. The computing device further generates one or more color saturation variation models based on the responses of the HVS to color stimulus.

A wearable device is provided. The wearable device includes space information including at least one of a location of the wearable device or a direction in which the wearable device is oriented, and transmit the space information to a mobile device, in response to satisfaction of a designated condition by a state in which first image data is received from the mobile device, display, on the display, the first image data including a first object identified based on the space information, receive modeling data associated with the first object from the mobile device, and in response to non-satisfaction of the designated condition by a state in which the first image data is received from the mobile device, generate second image data, based on the modeling data, and display the second image data on the display, the second image data including a first simplified object corresponding to the first object.

Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. A six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.

An information processing apparatus that functions as a non-limiting example image processing apparatus includes a processor. When an original image drawn with horizontally-long first pixels is to be drawn by square second pixels, the processor generates two intermediate image data in each of which the number of second pixels is 1.2 times the number of first pixels of the original image data, by generating a second area formed with six (6) second pixels arranged in a horizontal direction for each of first areas that are formed dividing the original image by every five (5) first pixels arranged in the horizontal direction, and outputs the two intermediate image data to a display control device. The display control device generates output image data by synthesizing the two intermediate image data, and outputs the generated output image data to a display. The output image data is generated in each of the second areas with colors that include colors of the second pixels at both ends, which are in agreement with colors of the first pixels at both ends in each corresponding first area and colors of the second pixels other than the both ends, each of which is generated based on colors of adjacent two first pixels in corresponding first area.

Provided is a display device including: an inputter/outputter comprising circuitry configured to request a content providing device to provide content at a first resolution and receive a first image at the first resolution from the content providing device, a display configured to display the first image, a memory storing one or more instructions, and a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory to: change a resolution requested to the content providing device from the first resolution to a second resolution, control the display to receive a second image from the content providing device and display the received second image in response to the change of the requested resolution, determine whether an error occurs in the displayed second image, and change the requested resolution from the second resolution to the first resolution based on an error occurring in the second image.

An embodiment of an electronic processing system may include an application processor, persistent storage media communicatively coupled to the application processor, a graphics subsystem communicatively coupled to the application processor, an object space adjuster communicatively coupled to the graphics subsystem to adjust an object space parameter based on a screen space parameter, and a sample adjuster communicatively coupled to the graphics subsystem to adjust a sample parameter of the graphics subsystem based on a detected condition.
