ELECTRONIC PAPER DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic paper display and a driving method thereof are provided. The electronic paper display includes an electronic paper display panel, a touch panel and a processing circuit. The electronic paper display panel is configured to display a display screen with a background in a first color. The touch panel is integrated with the electronic paper display panel and configured to output a first touch coordinate of a current touch. The processing circuit is configured to drive the electronic paper display panel to display a first touch track having a second color and corresponding to the first touch coordinate and a previous touch coordinate. The processing circuit further drives, according to the first touch track and a previous touch track, the electronic paper display panel to display a predicted track having a third color.
Luminance suppression power conservation
Described herein are systems and methods that reduce power consumption for an electronics device including a display. The systems and methods alter video information in a display area and reduce power for a display device when a graphics item is enlarged and the enlargement threatens to increase perceived luminance for the graphics item or increase aggregate luminance for the display area. Altering the video information reduces the luminance of video information in at least the graphics item when enlarged. This may offset perceived luminance gained by human visual processing when an item increases in size. If the graphics item is smaller than the display area after enlargement, then other video information in the display area may also be altered to conserve power.
Artificial reality system using superframes to communicate surface data
This disclosure describes efficient communication of surface texture data between system on a chip (SOC) integrated circuits. An example system includes a first integrated circuit and a second integrated circuit communicatively coupled to the first integrated circuit by a video communication interface. The first integrated generates a superframe in a video frame of the video communication interface for transmission to the second integrated circuit. The superframe includes multiple subframe payloads that carry surface texture data to be updated in the frame and corresponding subframe headers that include parameters of the subframe payloads. The second integrated circuit includes a direct access memory (DMA) controller. The DMA upon receipt of the superframe, writes the surface texture data within each of the subframe payloads directly to an allocated location in memory based on the parameters included in the corresponding one of the subframe headers.

The enhanced region determination portion is configured to determine an enhanced region according to the position signal. The image processing portion is configured to carry out enhanced display processing on the enhanced region based on a signal of the first image so as to form a signal of a second image, and to output the signal of the second image.

A method of V-By-One (VBO) signal processing for saving hardware resources, and a device and terminal thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: obtaining a plurality of VBO signals transmitted through data lanes respectively and having a same descrambling reset flag; resolving each of the VBO signals to obtain a valid data strobe signal; selecting one valid data strobe signal as a synchronization strobe signal and performing time-delay processing to obtain a delay strobe signal; and writing signals alternately into a first register and a second register under control of the synchronization strobe signal and reading signals alternately from the second register and the first register under control of the delay strobe signal based on the same descrambling reset flag.

A method of V-By-One (VBO) signal processing for saving hardware resources, and a device and terminal thereof are provided. An operating unit (2) sets ventilation parameters of a control unit (11) of a ventilator (1) that includes a gas dispensing device (10) for ventilation gases. The operating unit includes a display unit and an ventilation parameters input element (23, 24). Two or more of the parameters are linked via a relation condition stored in a relation storage module (40). A relation monitor (3) includes a deviation detector (31) detecting a transgression of the relation condition during parameter setting, and outputs warning information via a warning unit (32). This avoids a need for an operator to note the sometimes complicated connections and dependencies expressed in the relations during the parameter setting. The warning may be sent before the new setting value is sent from the operating unit to the control unit. Operating safety is increased and a risk of setting errors is minimized.
