Systems and methods for adaptive color accuracy with multiple sensors to control a display's white point and to calibrate the display using pre-boot diagnostics are described. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: receive a first measurement from a first Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) disposed on a display portion of the IHS; receive a second measurement from a second ALS, wherein the second ALS is configured to face the display portion in response to IHS being in a closed posture; and control a brightness of a display based upon at least one of the first or second measurements.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING AND CORRECTING ILLUMINATION SOURCES REFLECTING ON DISPLAYS
Systems and methods for identifying and correcting illumination sources are described. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: receive a measurement from an Ambient Light Sensor (ALS); determine that the measurement indicates an increase in ambient illumination equal to or greater than a threshold value; in response to the determination, receive an image from a charge-coupled device (CCD) sensor; extract illumination data from the image; and adjust the measurement in response to the illumination data.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel comprising: a display area in which a display area in which an array of pixel units is disposed, each of the pixel unit at least comprises a blue sub-pixel; a plurality of scan lines for providing a plurality of scan signals to the pixel units; and a plurality of data lines for providing a plurality of data signals to the pixel units, wherein the blue sub-pixels of the pixel units in every two separated columns, which are separated by one column, are coupled to a first data line, and the first data line provides an identical data signal to the blue sub-pixels in a same line of the two separated columns. The present invention further provides a method for driving the liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display comprising the above mentioned liquid crystal panel.

A gamma correction circuit applied to a display device includes a first storage unit, a second storage unit, a first correction circuit and a second correction circuit. The first storage unit stores a first gamma look-up table, and the second storage unit stores a second gamma look-up table. The first correction circuit receives an input signal, and generates an intermediate signal corresponding to the input signal according to the first gamma look-up table. The second correction circuit receives the intermediate signal, and generates an output signal corresponding to the intermediate signal according to the second look-up table to a display panel. The first look-up table is stored to the first storage unit after the display device is powered on.

The first storage unit stores a first gamma look-up table, and the second storage unit stores a second gamma look-up table. The second correction circuit receives the intermediate signal, and generates an output signal corresponding to the intermediate signal according to the second look-up table to a display panel. Disclosed is a color gamut matching method. The method includes: obtaining image data to be matched of a source terminal; establishing a preliminary matching relationship between the image data to be matched and image data to be output of a display terminal according to color gamut data coordinates of the source terminal and color gamut data coordinates of the display terminal; obtaining preliminary image data to be output of the display terminal according to the preliminary matching relationship; and accurately matching the preliminary image data to be output of the display terminal according to a 3D look-up table to obtain accurate image data to be displayed of the display terminal. Further disclosed are a color gamut matching device, a display terminal and a readable storage medium. The present disclosure can solve the color distortion of the display color gamut and improve the display effect of the display.

Disclosed is a color gamut matching method. The method includes: obtaining image data to be matched of a source terminal; establishing a preliminary matching relationship between the image data to be matched and image data to be output of a display terminal according to color gamut data coordinates of the source terminal and color gamut data coordinates of the display terminal; obtaining preliminary image data to be output of the display terminal according to the preliminary matching relationship; and accurately matching the preliminary image data to be output of the display terminal according to a 3D look-up table to obtain accurate image data to be displayed of the display terminal.
