A display system that makes it possible to obtain high operability while maintaining visibility when a virtual object is displayed. The display system includes a smartphone as an information processing apparatus and smart glasses as a head mounted display that is capable of communicating with the smartphone and has an image capturing section. Information on the smartphone is detected from an image captured by the image capturing section. The smart glasses include a display section that is capable of displaying a virtual object, and a virtual object is displayed on the display section in a position adjacent to the smartphone or in a manner partially superimposing the virtual object on the smartphone, based on the detected information.

An electronic apparatus, including a memory configured to store information related to Graphical User Interface (GUI); a display; and a processor configured to: control the display to display a content area including a content and a black box area generated based on an aspect ratio of the content area and an aspect ratio of the display; based on receiving a user command for displaying a GUI, determine whether the content has a predetermined type based on type information of the content; based on determining that the content has the predetermined type, determine whether the GUI is included in the black box area based on a size of the GUI and a size of the black box area; and based on determining that the GUI is not included in the black box area, adjust a display position of the content area such that the GUI is included in the black box area.

A vehicle display control device includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to: recognize a traffic regulation mark provided on a traveling path of a car, the traffic regulation mark indicating traffic regulation; specify a valid regulation range used as a valid range of regulation indicated by the traffic regulation mark based on the recognized traffic regulation mark; and control a display device mounted on the car to display regulations information on a display area, the regulations information including contents of regulation indicated by the recognized traffic regulation mark. The processor is configured to switch displaying the regulations information into another upon satisfying a predetermined condition in a case where the valid regulation range is not specified.
Display apparatus and control method for display of a virtual flat screen
A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a sensor, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to generate a virtual flat screen based on an angle of the display identified through the sensor, correct a size of a content based on a distance between the virtual flat screen and the display, project the corrected content to a virtual space, map the content projected to the virtual space to the virtual flat screen, render the virtual flat screen that the content is mapped to, and display the rendered virtual flat screen on the display.

A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a sensor, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to generate a virtual flat screen based on an angle of the display identified through the sensor, correct a size of a content based on a distance between the virtual flat screen and the display, project the corrected content to a virtual space, map the content projected to the virtual space to the virtual flat screen, render the virtual flat screen that the content is mapped to, and display the rendered virtual flat screen on the display.
