Display device, driving method of display device, and electronic device for displaying a plurality of images by superimposition using a plurality of memory circuits
To provide a display device capable of displaying a plurality of images by superimposition using a plurality of memory circuits provided in a pixel. A plurality of memory circuits are provided in a pixel, and signals corresponding to images for superimposition are retained in each of the plurality of memory circuits. In the pixel, the signals corresponding to the images for superimposition are added to each of the plurality of memory circuits. The signals are added to the signals retained in the memory circuits by capacitive coupling. A display element can display an image corresponding to a signal in which a signal written to a pixel through a wiring is added to the signals retained in the plurality of memory circuits. Reduction in the amount of arithmetic processing for displaying images by superimposition can be achieved.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MULTI-PRIMARY WIDE GAMUT COLOR SYSTEM
Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. One embodiment of the multi-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
Image data processing device and method of processing image data based on a representative value of an image
The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for processing image data for driving a display panel. More particularly, it relates to a device and a method to vary the brightness of each pixel according to a representative brightness value of an image.
Display Screen Aging Compensation Method, Circuit System, and Electronic Device
A display screen aging compensation method, system, and device, the method including obtaining display data of each display area of a display screen having at least one display area, the display data including usage time t of the display area, a maximum gray level value Lev_max that is of each primary color and that is obtained before the display data, and an average gray level value Lev of each primary color of three primary colors within the usage time t, where the usage time is accumulated screen-on time that is of the display area and that is obtained after the display screen is powered on, obtaining a decay ratio of each primary color of the display area based on the display data, and performing aging compensation on each display area based on the decay ratio of each primary color of each display area.
Two-Dimensional Content-Adaptive Compensation to Mitigate Display Voltage Drop
This disclosure provides various techniques for providing fine-grain digital and analog pixel compensation to account for voltage error across an electronic display. By employing a two-dimensional digital compensation and a local analog compensation, a fine-grain and robust pixel compensation scheme may be provided to the electronic display.
DISPLAY MANAGER
Managing the display of an electronic device includes receiving an instruction to activate an enhanced state of the display and obtaining a current operating value of the display operating in a base state. An enhanced operating value is determined for the display based on the current operating value and a power budget allocated to the display. The enhanced operating value may be greater than the current operating value and is less than a maximum operating value of the display in the enhanced state. The display is instructed to operate in the enhanced state at the enhanced operating value.
Display apparatus and method for controlling the same
Disclosed is a display apparatus, capable of adjusting an image based on a location and a type of ambient light source. The display apparatus includes: a display; a housing supporting the display; a sensor disposed in the housing and configured to detect a quantity of entering light; and a processor configured to: based on an arrangement angle of the sensor and the detected quantity of the entering light, identify a location of a light source; and in response to the identified location of the light source, adjust a quality of an image displayed on the display.
Method, a device, a display device and a medium for improving OLED residual images
The present application discloses a method, a device, a display device and a medium for improving OLED residual images. The method for improving OLED residual images includes obtaining a life attenuation rate relationship and a life attenuation degree relationship of an OLED display panel, dividing a display area of the display panel into a plurality of sub-areas to monitor temperature change and gray scale change of each sub-area respectively, obtaining a temperature value and a gray scale value of each sub-area at a current moment, calculating a current life attenuation rate according to the temperature value and the gray scale value, and calculating a current luminous time of each sub-area, calculating a life attenuation degree of each sub-area according to the current luminous time of each sub-area, and performing pixel compensation to each sub-area respectively according to the current life attenuation degree of each sub-area.
