LIGHT FIELD DISPLAY METROLOGY
Examples of a light field metrology system for use with a display are disclosed. The light field metrology may capture images of a projected light field, and determine focus depths (or lateral focus positions) for various regions of the light field using the captured images. The determined focus depths (or lateral positions) may then be compared with intended focus depths (or lateral positions), to quantify the imperfections of the display. Based on the measured imperfections, an appropriate error correction may be performed on the light field to correct for the measured imperfections. The display can be an optical display element in a head mounted display, for example, an optical display element capable of generating multiple depth planes or a light field display.
BACKLIGHT MODULE AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING VIEWING ANGLE FOR UNKNOWN BACKLIGHT MODULE
The present invention provides a backlight module and a method for calculating viewing angle for an unknown backlight module. In the present invention, brightness-viewing angle values of the unknown backlight module can be calculated according to the color saturation-viewing angle data of the unknown backlight module at specific viewing angles, and thus are taken to deploy the brightness-viewing angle values of a produced backlight module to be as the same as the brightness-viewing angle values of the unknown backlight module.
IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND COMPUTER DEVICE
The present application discloses an image processing method, an image processing device, and a computer device. The image processing method includes: acquiring a first to-be-processed chromaticity data set and a second to-be-processed chromaticity data set of a preset color of a to-be-processed picture, acquiring a Gaussian probability of the preset color, identifying a picture region in the to-be-processed picture that contains the preset color of the preset scene, and acquiring a color output correction value. The method of the present application can effectively improve a color cast phenomenon and a quality of the displayed picture.
VIEWING-ANGLE-DEPENDENT COLOR/BRIGHTNESS CORRECTION FOR DISPLAY SYSTEM
A display system including a tracking subsystem configured to track one of a pose of a head of a viewer or a pose of an eye of the viewer. The display system further includes an image correction module configured to, for each pixel of at least a subset of pixels of an input image, determine a pixel view angle for the pixel based on the pose of the head or the pose of the eye, determine a corrected pixel value based on an input pixel value of the pixel in the input image and based on the pixel view angle; and provide the corrected pixel value for the pixel in an angle-corrected image corresponding to the input image. The display system further includes a display panel to display the angle-corrected image.
METHOD, DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING LUMINANCE VIEWING ANGLE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL
The present disclosure provides a method, a device, a system, and a display device for adjusting a luminance viewing angle of a liquid crystal display panel. The method obtains an actual value of a luminance viewing angle corresponding to a current image, adjusts a positive and negative polarity driving voltage when the actual value is less than a threshold value to obtain a relational expression between the positive and negative polarity driving voltage and the luminance viewing angle, processes a difference value between the actual value and the threshold value to obtain a target driving voltage value, and adjusts the positive and negative polarity driving voltage according to the target driving voltage value, thereby realizing adjustment of the luminance viewing angle.
PIXEL DRIVE CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY PANEL
A pixel drive circuit and a display panel are provided. According to the pixel drive circuit, a first data line and a first sharing line form a first sub pixel area, a second data line and a second sharing line form a second sub pixel area, and a third data line and a third sharing line form a third sub pixel area. The first sub pixel area, the second sub pixel area and the third sub pixel area share one scan line. The first sharing line of the first sub pixel area is connected in series with the third sharing line of the third sub pixel area.
ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY PANEL
An array substrate and a display panel are provided. The array substrate includes a plurality of sub-pixels, and each sub-pixel includes four thin film transistors. The array substrate further includes a gate line, a data line, and a divided voltage line. In the present invention, a channel aspect ratio of second thin film transistor is greater than a channel aspect ratio of the first thin film transistor and a channel aspect ratio of third thin film transistor, and a drain of a fourth thin film transistor is electrically connected to the divided voltage line, such that the display panel has a wider viewing angle.
