Controlling display device settings from a mobile device touch interface
System, method, and computer product embodiments for controlling a display device's display settings from a computing device's touch-based user interface are described. In an embodiment, the computing device establishes a wireless connectivity with the display device. The computing device sends a command generated to query information related to the display setting. Then, the computing device receives the queried information from the display device. The computing device configures a graphical user interface (GUI) with the queried information to display configurations of the display settings on the touchscreen. The configurations include the display settings currently configured in the display device. The computing device further enables, within GUI, a displayed configuration from the display configurations to be calibrated by one or more touch gestures on the touchscreen.

A screen control apparatus of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided. The screen control apparatus includes: a sensing device that measures illumination; a brightness determining device that determines a brightness degree corresponding to the illumination from one or more illumination measurement data; and a controller that controls a screen brightness of a display depending on the determined brightness degree. The controller controls the screen brightness of the display, whenever the brightness degree is changed.

Provided is a curvature variable display device including a panel assembly including a display panel, a back plate disposed on a rear surface of the panel assembly, a first side bracket and a second side bracket respectively coupled to two sides of a rear surface of the back plate, a bending plate having one end rotatably coupled to the first side bracket and another end rotatably coupled to the second side bracket and having a convex curvature toward a rear of the back plate, a stand post having an upper end coupled to a center area of the bending plate and a lower end coupled to a stand base, and a dial assembly provided on the stand base to wind or unwind a wire coupled to the rear surface of the back plate and change curvatures of the panel assembly and the back plate.
RGB LED TOUCH PANEL AND DRIVE SENSE CIRCUIT
A drive-sense module for an RGB light emitting diode (LED) touch-sense panel includes light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light of different wavelengths and light blocking spacers configured to block light horizontal light detection between LEDs. The drive-sense module includes a plurality of LED touch sensors and a plurality of difference detection circuits, each LED touch sensor is coupled to one of the plurality of LEDs and configured to generate a signal representative of light detected by the LED in the first mode and a signal representative of light emitted by the LED in the second mode. A drive-sense circuit (DSC) is configured to forward bias the LED in the transmit mode and reverse bias the LED in the receive mode and a data output circuit is configured to generate a digital representation of light intensity of the current that is generated by the DSC.
Pixel leakage and internal resistance compensation systems and methods
An electronic device may include an electronic display having multiple pixels to display an image based on processed image data. Each of the pixels may include multiple sub-pixels. The electronic device may also include image processing circuitry to receive first image data for a sub-pixel of the and second image data for a group of sub-pixels surrounding the sub-pixel. The first image data may include a luminance value for the sub-pixel and the second image data may include luminance values for each sub-pixel of the group. The image processing circuitry may also determine a compensation value, to compensate the luminance value for lateral current leakage between the sub-pixel and the group of sub-pixels, based on the luminance value of the sub-pixel and the luminance values for each sub-pixel of the group of sub-pixels.
Systems and methods to synchronize display settings among multiple display devices
A display device may include a communications interface and a controller configured to monitor for user-initiated changes to display settings associated with the display device and communicate a message via the communications interface to an information handling system in order to cause the information handling system to communicate a second message to a second display device to change display settings of the second display device responsive to the user-initiated changes to the display settings associated with the display device. The controller may also be configured to monitor for an indication from the information handling system via the communications interface indicative of user-initiated changes to display settings associated with the second display device and responsive to receipt of the indication from the information handling system indicative of user-initiated changes to display settings associated with the second display device, cause a change to display settings associated with the display device.
Electronic device including variable display and method of operating the same
An electronic device includes: a housing including a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side, a variable display coupled to the housing and having a changeable position of a side area surrounding the first side, a sensor configured to detect a change in the position of the side area, and a processor electrically connected to the variable display and the sensor, wherein the processor may be configured to: obtain data on a state change of the variable display through the sensor, calculate an amount of change in the position of the side area based on the data on the state change, and change display coordinates of a soft key based on the calculated amount of change.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING BRIGHTNESS, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and apparatus for adjusting brightness, a display device, and a storage medium are provided. The method is applied to a first display device and includes the following operations. A brightness adjustment requirement for a second display device is obtained in a case of being in a connected state with the second display device. A brightness value of a display picture displayed on the second display device is adjusted based on the brightness adjustment requirement to acquire a display data after the display picture of the second display device is adjusted; the adjusted display data is transmitted to the second display device.
Display apparatus and controlling method thereof
A display apparatus includes a display panel on which an image is displayed, a receiver configured to receive an image signal related to the image from an external device and a controller configured to change an image processing mode of the image based on a change in a vertical frequency of the image signal. The display apparatus according to an embodiment has an effect of providing a more vivid image to a user by changing the image processing mode of the image based on the change in the vertical frequency of the image signal received from the external device.
