BLUE LIGHT REDUCTION
According to various, but not necessarily all, embodiments there is provided an apparatus comprising means for binocularly displaying visual content as a first image directed towards a first eye of a user and as a second image directed towards a second eye of the user. The first image comprises a first area in which a blue spectral component of the visual content is reduced as compared to a corresponding first area of the second image. The second image comprises a second, different area in which a blue spectral component of the visual content is reduced as compared to a corresponding second area of the first image.
HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE (HDR) VIDEO ROTATION ANIMATION
In some aspects, the present disclosure provides a method for high dynamic range (HDR) video rotation. The method includes receiving, by a display processor, an indication that a frame rotation animation process for video playback has been initiated, the display processor comprising a display processor pipeline. The method also includes determining whether the video playback is an HDR format or another format. In response to the determination and receiving the indication: bypassing a loading of the frame rotation animation into a first portion of the display processor pipeline, and loading the frame rotation animation into a second portion of the display processor pipeline if the video playback is in an HDR format.
Display apparatus and method of driving display panel using the same
A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver, a data driver and a driving controller. The display panel displays an image based on input image data. The gate driver outputs a gate signal to a gate line of the display panel. The data driver outputs a data voltage to a data line of the display panel. The driving controller controls operations of the gate driver and the data driver and drive a still image display area and a video image display area of a display area of the display panel in different driving frequencies. The driving controller includes a still image determiner which divides the input image data into a plurality of still image determining blocks, respectively determines whether the still image determining blocks represent a still image or a video image and determines a boundary between the still image display area and the video image display area.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING EVENT INFORMATION, STORAGE MEDIUM AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method for displaying event information, includes: determining an event category and event information of an event to be displayed; determining a target template in a template library according to the event category, wherein the template library includes reference templates corresponding to multiple event categories; generating, based on the event information, a picture corresponding to the event to be displayed by using the target template; and, displaying the picture on an electronic signage corresponding to the event to be displayed.
METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DETERMINING DYNAMIC RESOLUTION FOR APPLICATION OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method for identifying a dynamic resolution for an application (150) of an electronic device (100) is provided. The method includes identifying, by the electronic device, a base resolution for a window of the application (150), wherein the window includes a plurality of views; identifying, by the electronic device, a plurality of resolutions respectively corresponding to the plurality of views based on the base resolution and at least one characteristic of each of the plurality of views; applying, by the electronic device, the plurality of resolutions to the plurality of views, respectively; and displaying, by the electronic device, the plurality of views in the plurality of resolutions, respectively.
Display layout optimization of multiple media streams
A system and method for optimizing a display layout of multiple video streams at a sink device is provided. The display layout of multiple streams may be dynamically optimized based on a number of different variables, including characteristics of the sink device, total number of active incoming streams, active audio, and other characteristics of the source material or device. The source of an incoming media stream may contain useful characteristics for optimizing the display layout of multiple media streams. One such characteristic of a source device may include the device type, such as laptop, PC, phone, or tablet. Information may be extracted from each incoming stream in order to predict a source device type from which the incoming media stream originates.
Intelligent display of content
Systems and methods for intelligent display of content are disclosed herein. According to one illustrative method, a computing device camera captures an image of a face. The control circuitry determines, based on the captured image, whether at least a portion of the face is directed toward a computing device display. The control circuitry retrieves, from a memory, a rule specifying criteria for determining whether to block or permit presentation of content based on whether one or more faces are directed toward the display. The control circuitry determines, based on the rule and whether at least a portion of the face is directed toward the display, whether to block or permit the presentation of the content, and blocks or permits the presentation of the content via the computing device based on a result of the determining.
Information processing method and electronic device
An information processing method. The information processing method includes obtaining an input operation, the input operation being used to activate an input interface; and activating the input interface and displaying the input interface in an output area of a display screen based on a refresh rate corresponding to the input interface in response to the input operation.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND A METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME
A display apparatus including: a display panel configured to display an image based on input image data; a data driver configured to output a data voltage to the display panel; and a driving controller configured to determine a driving frequency of the display panel based on flicker values for grayscale values of the input image data and output a driving frequency signal representing the driving frequency of the display panel to a host.
REFRESH RATE SWITCHING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A refresh rate switching method and an electronic device are provided. In the method, the electronic device dynamically switches a corresponding screen refresh rate by determining whether a current display image is a high frame rate scenario or a standard frame rate scenario. In the high frame rate scenario, a relatively high screen refresh rate is used to support a high display frame rate. In this way, a user can obtain experience of the high display frame rate, and the display image is smooth without motion blur. In the standard frame rate scenario, a default low screen refresh rate is used to reduce power consumption of an entire system.
