Time, content, and presence based adjustment of audio and video playback levels and modes

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for determining settings and parameters for presenting media content based on input data from a surrounding environment. Example methods may include determining input data such as time and brightness in an environment, determining adjusted content settings based on the input data, and causing an electronic device to adjust content settings for presenting the media content based on the input data. For example, the adjusted content settings may involve audio and/or visual settings. The systems and methods may also gradually transition the content settings based on an impending change in the environment.

An image adjusting method of a display apparatus includes steps as follows: A plurality of preset grayscale-brightness relationship curves are determined corresponding to a plurality of time periods of a day, respectively. A reference grayscale-brightness relationship curve is selected from the preset grayscale-brightness relationship curves according to an acquisition time of an image data, corresponding to one of the time periods. A real-time ambient light is acquired, and it is compared with at least one of a reference contrast and a reference ambient light brightness corresponding to the reference grayscale-brightness relationship curve. At least one other grayscale-brightness relationship curve is selected from the preset grayscale-brightness relationship curves according to a comparison result to at least partially replace the reference grayscale-brightness relationship curve for adjusting the image data. The adjusted image data is then displayed.

The processor is configured to obtain a first through third contrast ratio enhancement curves, corresponding to the first image, generated by applying the first feature information to a curve generation network in which first parameter information is set, corresponding to each of the plurality of regions, generated by applying the second feature information to the curve generation network in which second parameter information is set, corresponding to each of the plurality of object regions, generated by applying the third feature information to the curve generation network in which third parameter information is set, generate a second image by applying the first through third contrast ratio enhancement curves to the first image.

System and Method for Attention Detection and Visualization

The attention level of participants is measured and then the resulting value is provided on a display of the participants. The participants are presented in a gallery view layout. The frame of each participant is colored to indicate the attention level. The entire window is tinted in colors representing the attention level. The blurriness of the participant indicates attention level. The saturation the participant indicates attention level. The window sizes vary based on attention level. Color bars are added to provide indications of percentages of attention level over differing time periods. Neural networks are used to find the faces of the participants and then develop facial keypoint values which are used to determine gaze direction, which in turn is used to develop an attention score. The attention score is then used to determine the settings of the layout.
