A drive control method and a related device for a display panel that has different display areas are provided. Time-divided drive control is performed on pixel scan circuits corresponding to the different display areas, so that in a scenario in which some display areas do not need to display an image, a pixel scan circuit may be left idle for some time, to reduce power consumption required by the pixel scan circuits for scanning pixels in this time period. In addition, in the embodiments of this application, time-divided drive control is further performed on touch scan circuits and fingerprint scan circuits corresponding to the different display areas, independent power supplying is further used for pixels in the different display areas, and some functions of a display driver are enabled in a time-divided manner.

OPTIMIZED FACIAL ILLUMINATION FROM ADAPTIVE SCREEN CONTENT

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to adjusting an illumination of a user depicted in one or more images when using a video conferencing application. In one example, one or more images depicting the user may be received from an image sensor. Further, an illumination of the user depicted in the one or more images may be determined to be unsatisfactory. For example, the user's face may be too bright or too dim. Accordingly, content displayed at a display device may identified and then modified. The modified content may then be rendered to a display device thereby changing the illumination of the user depicted in subsequent images. In examples, the modified content may include a graphical element, such as a ring of a specific color at least partially surrounding content rendered to and displayed at the display device.

A display device includes a display panel, a power supply unit, and a low frequency offset compensator. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The power supply unit generates a first initialization voltage and a second initialization voltage and provides the first initialization voltage and the second initialization voltage to the pixels. The low frequency offset compensator selectively applies an offset to the second initialization voltage when the display panel is driven at a low frequency.

CALIBRATION OF A CAMERA ACCORDING TO A CHARACTERISTIC OF A PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

In some aspects, a user device may receive, from a camera of the user device, an image of a physical environment of the camera. The user device may determine, using a brightness analysis model, a first brightness associated with a first portion of the image that depicts an object. The user device may determine, using the brightness analysis model, a second brightness associated with a second portion of the image that is separate from the first portion. The user device may set, based at least in part on the first brightness and the second brightness, a brightness level of a display of the user device. Numerous other aspects are described.
