Vacuum insulated container for selectively dispensing two fluids of different temperatures
10617243 · 2020-04-14 ·

A vacuum insulated container for storing and selectively dispensing two fluids of different temperatures serves to insulate and selectively dispense two segregated fluids having different temperatures from the container. The vacuum insulated container provides a body that is bifurcated into two compartments separated by vacuum insulated walls. The first compartment contains a fluid of a first temperature, and the second compartment contains a fluid of a second temperature. The vacuum insulated container further provides a cap having two tabs that selectively open and close independently of each other, so that only one tab can be opened to access the desired fluid. Sliding the first tab to the open position releases a tensioned locking member to lock the second tab in the closed position, and displacing the second tab to the open position releases the tensioned locking member to lock the first tab in the closed position.

INSULATED FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTAINER
20190307292 · 2019-10-10 · ·

An insulated container for food particulate and beverages is described. The insulated container includes a double-walled structure composed of a metal, and a glass structure arranged within a hollow interior of the double-walled structure. The glass structure includes a body and a sipping portion extending from the body. The sipping portion isolates the user's lips from contacting the double-walled structure. The glass structure may be repeatably removed for cleaning or replacement. The insulated structure includes a deformable flange that secures the glass structure to the double-walled structure. The insulated container may be vacuum-insulated.

A beverage bottle (1, 1) with a bottle body (2) to which a bottle neck (4) opens into a mouthpiece (6) with a pouring opening (8) is formed, and whose bottle body (2) is double-walled, so it is intended for use in automatic filling and on an industrial scale. For this purpose and according to the invention, the bottle body (2) including the neck (4) is double-walled, and comprises of an outer container wall (10) and included therein, spaced apart from the inner container wall (14), wherein both the outer container wall (10) and the inner container wall (14) are integral with the mouthpiece (6) welded or materially connected to the mouthpiece (6). The vent opening (20) is closed with a plug (21).

Insulated cooking pot with cover

A double-walled insulated cooking pot has a food vessel, a sleeve positioned around the food vessel, a first insulator, and a second insulator. The insulators are affixed between the food vessel's wall(s) and the sleeve. The outer surface of the wall(s), the inner surface of the sleeve, and the insulators define a vacuum space. An insulated cover for the cooking pot has an upper layer, a lower layer, and a cover insulator. The cover insulator is sealingly engaged with an outer edge of an inner surface of the upper layer and an inner surface of the lower layer. The upper layer, the lower layer, and the cover insulator define a vacuum space within the cover. The pot and cover can be constructed such that the surfaces of the vacuum spaces are reflective.

A method for making a container includes forming a first cavity of a container by shaping an inner wall so that a first surface of the inner wall defines the first cavity; forming a second cavity of the container by shaping an outer wall so that a third surface of the outer wall surrounds a second surface of the inner wall such that together the third and second surfaces define the second cavity; and connecting the inner and outer walls together. The method then includes forming a hole through the outer wall to expose the second cavity to the outside ambient environment and then applying an enamel coating, while preventing the enamel coating from being deposited in the hole. After the enamel coating is applied, the method includes heating the container to glaze the enamel coating and fix the coating to the one or more surfaces.

After the enamel coating is applied, the method includes heating the container to glaze the enamel coating and fix the coating to the one or more surfaces. After the enamel is glazed, the method includes removing air from the second cavity; and then while the air is removed from the second cavity, sealing the second cavity so that the pressure inside the second cavity is less than the pressure in the outside ambient environment.

Disclosed embodiments relate to a removable insert structure, which may be formed of glass and configured to be disposed within an outer vessel. The insert structure may have a sipping portion configured to extend out of the open end of the outer vessel. In some embodiments, the cross-sectional width of the sipping portion may vary, for example from the shoulder end to the sipping end. For example, the cross-sectional width of the sipping portion may be wedge-shaped, with the width at the sipping end being less than the width at the shoulder end. Insulated containers including removable insert vessels and lids for use with insulated containers are also disclosed.
