An electronic device includes at least one display, a communication circuit, at least one processor, and a memory. The processor is configured to obtain information on a first display aspect ratio associated with a current state of the at least one display if an input indicating initiation of a video call is received. The processor is configured to determine at least one first image ratio associated with the video call based on the information on the first display aspect ratio. The processor is configured to transmit, to an external electronic device, a first signal including information on the at least one first image ratio. The processor is configured to receive, from the external electronic device, a second signal including information on a second image ratio associated with the video call. The processor is configured to perform the video call based on the second image ratio.

The embodiment may include receiving data relating to a position and orientation of a reference device relative to a user. The embodiment may also include identifying an orientation of a display surface of a mobile device and a relative position of the mobile device relative to a viewing direction of the user. The embodiment may further include identifying an optimal viewing angle of display content on the display surface of the mobile device. The embodiment may also include in response to determining the display content is not able to be displayed as a hologram, aligning the display content as text based on the optimal viewing angle. The embodiment may further include presenting the aligned display content as text to the user.

A display device whose aspect ratio can be changed is provided. The display device includes a plurality of display units and a plurality of driver circuit units. The plurality of display units each include a light-emitting portion and a connection region. The plurality of driver circuit units each include a driver circuit portion and a connection region. The connection regions of the adjacent units overlap with each other and one shaft passes through the connection regions. The adjacent units are electrically connected to each other with the one shaft. With such a structure, an angle between the adjacent units electrically connected to each other with one shaft can be changed, which enables the aspect ratio of the display device to be changed.

A first terminal device receives a screen projection instruction that is used to instruct the first terminal device to perform screen projection to a second terminal device. The first terminal device generates, based on interface information of a first interface and second device information, a second interface to be displayed on the second terminal device, where the first interface is an interface displayed on the first terminal device. The second device information is used to indicate a screen size and a screen status of the second terminal device.

IMAGE PROCESSING
A method and system for processing an image is described. For example, the method comprises detecting a plurality of objects within an in input image; identifying dimensions of a display on which the input image is to be displayed; cropping the input image to obtain a cropped image which matches the identified dimensions, wherein the cropped image includes at least one of the plurality of detected objects; obtaining a list of missing objects which are not visible in the cropped image and which were detected in the input image; outputting a representation of each missing object in the list of missing objects to be displayed together with the cropped image; generating an updated image comprising the representation of at least one missing object and which matches the identified dimensions; and outputting the updated image to be displayed on the display.
ORIENTATION-AGNOSTIC FULL-SCREEN USER INTERFACE DISPLAYS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A system and method for control of user interfaces on electronic and/or computerized devices. The system and method display images, both still and video images, in an orientation-agnostic manner that is independent of a physical orientation of the display screen. This provides an interesting visual display effect whereby the image appears to remain in a fixed orientation (e.g., upright) relative to three-dimensional space, untethered to any position or orientation of the display screen and/or device, while the display screen and/or device is changed in position and/or orientation, such that the portion of the viewed image changes according to the dimensions and orientation of the screen relative to an apparent fixed orientation and/or position of the underlying image. Such a system and method for control of user interfaces provides for more efficient use of a display screen having a relatively limited size, as is common for smartphones and tablet computers.
