An electronic device including a flexible display and a method of transitioning a first execution screen of a first application from one screen area of the flexible display to a second screen area are described. The first area may have a first screen ratio, whereas the second area may have a second screen ratio. The transition may be based on a folded/unfolded state of the electronic device. The transition may be triggered based on switching to/from a folded state. Several other screen areas may be used for additional transitions and provide visual effects to provide a seamless user experience through such transitions.

Provided is an image processing method. The image processing method includes: acquiring first parameter information of a first display device; acquiring a first image currently displayed by a second display device; generating to-be-displayed content of the first display device based on the first parameter information and the first image; and displaying the to-be-displayed content by the first display device in a full screen fashion.

Provided herein may be a display device and a method of controlling a plurality of display devices. The method may include displaying, on a first display device, a first image including a first partial image, a second partial image, and a third partial image, transmitting, by the first display device, a second image including a fourth partial image corresponding to the first partial image, a fifth partial image corresponding to the second partial image, and a sixth partial mage corresponding to the third partial image to a second display device, displaying the second image on the second display device, receiving, by the first display device, a first touch input for a first input interface included in the third partial image, and receiving, by the first display device, a second touch input for at least one of the fourth, fifth partial image, and sixth partial images.

A device and method for intuitively optimizing the size of a displayed visual content on a rollable display device, wherein either the visual content is optimally scaled to current dimensions of a front screen, or a touch-sensitive display is rolled to a required extent that optimally displays a best possible aspect ratio for the visual content after obtaining a permission using an input gesture, such as a multi-touch “spread” or “pinch” gesture. The touch-sensitive display can further be rolled manually between a rolled-in and rolled-out state using “shake-to-roll” movement gestures.

In some aspects, a display device may receive a distance measurement from a sensor. The distance measurement may be indicative of a dimension of the rollable display panel of the display device. The display device may configure, based on the distance measurement, an output setting for displayed content of the rollable display panel according to the dimension. A display method for an interactive system, an interactive system, and an electronic device are provided. The interactive system includes a display, and the display method for the interactive system includes: determining a display area and an extension area that are obtained by dividing the display; generating event information based on an operation performed by a user on the extension area; and responding, in the display area based on the event information, to an operation corresponding to the event information.

A display control integrated circuit (IC) applicable to performing video output (VO) generator reset control in a display device includes multiple sub-circuits such as a VO generator and a display output control circuit. The VO generator generates an input vertical synchronization (IVS) signal for controlling playback of video data. The display output control circuit performs display output control, and more particularly, generates a set of display control signals to control a display output module within the display device to perform display operations. The set of display control signals may include a display vertical synchronization (DVS) signal for being used as timing reference of a timing controller within the display output module. During a time interval between time points when two consecutive pulses carried by the DVS signal appear, the display output control circuit sends a reset signal to the VO generator at an intermediate time point to reset it.

A display device including a housing; a display unit accommodated in the housing; and a control unit configured to cause the display unit to operate in a speaker mode to play a song while the display unit is fully inserted in the housing, receive an image display command, according to the image display command, withdraw the display unit and display a first content corresponding to the image display command in a first region of the display unit, and display a second content of an audio controller for controlling the speaker mode in a second region of the display unit.

A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes: a display with a first display module and a second display module; a timing controller; a communication interface; and one or more processor configured to, based on content received from a plurality of source devices through the communication interface in a multi-view mode, control the display to display the received content through different regions on the display, identify a first frame rate of first content received from a first source device and a second frame rate of second content received from a second source device, control the timing controller to control the first display module to operate at the first frame rate, and control the timing controller to control the second display module to operate at the second frame rate.

A system and method for optimizing a display layout of multiple video streams at a sink device is provided. The display layout of multiple streams may be dynamically optimized based on a number of different variables, including characteristics of the sink device, total number of active incoming streams, active audio, and other characteristics of the source material or device. The source of an incoming media stream may contain useful characteristics for optimizing the display layout of multiple media streams. One such characteristic of a source device may include the device type, such as laptop, PC, phone, or tablet. Information may be extracted from each incoming stream in order to predict a source device type from which the incoming media stream originates.
