DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY DEVICE
This display device includes a display and a controller. The controller provisionally places an object on a display area of the display, determines a display size of the object that allows the object to be contained within the display area by comparing a size of the object with a size of the display area, and renders the object in the display area using the thus determined display size of the object.
Display device and method of driving the same
A display device includes a display driver configured to generate a data signal based on input image data, and a display panel configured to display an image in a display area based on the data signal. The input image data includes position information of the image, the display driver updates at least a portion of the position information included in the input image data corresponding to at least a partial area of the display area and provides the data signal including an updated position information during a frame period in which no new input image data is received, and the image corresponding to the partial area is updated in the display area based on the updated position information during the frame period.
Display device
A display device includes a display panel, a first line, a second line, a first driver, and a second driver. The display panel includes a first display area, a second display area, a third display area, and a fourth display area, which are sequentially arranged. The first display area and/or the second display area may be flexible. The second driver corresponds to the fourth display area, provides a first data voltage through the second line to the first display area during a first period, and provides a fourth data voltage to the fourth display area during a second period immediately following the first period. The first driver corresponds to the third display area, provides a second data voltage through the first line to the second display area during the second period, and provides a third data voltage to the third display area during the first period.
Dynamic alignment of mobile device content
An embodiment for adjusting digital content in a flexible display device is provided. The embodiment may include receiving data relating to a position and orientation of a reference device relative to a user. The embodiment may also include identifying an orientation of a display surface of a mobile device and a relative position of the mobile device relative to a viewing direction of the user. The embodiment may further include identifying an optimal viewing angle of display content on the display surface of the mobile device. The embodiment may also include in response to determining the display content is not able to be displayed as a hologram, aligning the display content as text based on the optimal viewing angle. The embodiment may further include presenting the aligned display content as text to the user.
Methods, systems, and media for presenting requested content on public display devices
Methods, systems, and media for presenting requested content on public display devices are provided. In some implementations a method for presenting content on a display device is provided, the method comprising: receiving a request from a mobile device to present content, including image data, on a display device; receiving a graphical representation associated with a user; receiving location information associated with the mobile device; receiving display device information associated with display devices, including location information associated with that display device; selecting, without user input, a first display device on which to present the content based on the location information associated with the mobile device and the location information associated with each of the plurality of display devices; and in response to selecting the first display device, causing both the graphical representation associated with the user of the mobile device and the content to be presented by the first display device.
DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A display control apparatus includes an attitude detection unit and a display control unit. The attitude detection unit is configured to detect an attitude of a display unit. The display control unit, in a case where the attitude of the display unit detected by the attitude detection unit is a first attitude, is configured to display a certain display object on the display unit and after having displayed the certain display object for a first period to cancel display of the certain display object, and in a case where the attitude of the display unit detected by the attitude detection unit is a second attitude different from the first attitude by 90 degrees, is configured to display the certain display object on the display unit and after having displayed the certain display object for the first period not to cancel display of the certain display object.
IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
An image display system is configured such that an image display device and an image processing device are connected to each other through a network. The image display device is provided with: an instruction information generation unit for generating instruction information pertaining to image-processing to be performed on an image input signal; an image signal transmission unit for transmitting the instruction information to the image processing device; a corrected signal reception unit for receiving a corrected image input signal obtained through image-processing performed by the image processing device on the basis of the instruction information; and a display signal output unit for outputting an image output signal based on the corrected image input signal, to an object where an image is to be displayed. The image processing device receives the image input signal connected through the network and performs image-processing on the image input signal according to the instruction information.
CONFIGURING VIRTUAL DISPLAY ZONES WITHIN ONE FLEXIBLE DISPLAY
In one aspect, a device includes a processor, a display accessible to the processor, and storage accessible to the processor. The storage bears instructions executable by the processor to identify a location of at least one fold line along which the display is folded, where a first display zone is established on a first side of the fold line and a second display zone is established on a second side of the fold line. The instructions are also executable to, based on identification of the location of the at least one fold line, establish a first display mode in the first display zone and a second display mode in the second display zone, where the first display mode is different from the second display mode.
SCREEN CONTROLLING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE SAME
An electronic device includes a memory configured to store an application including a plurality of resources, each of the resources is matched to each of a plurality of characteristic information which include a first characteristic information of the electronic device and a second characteristic information of an external electronic device. A communication interface communicates with the external electronic device and a processor is operatively connected with the memory and the communication interface. The processor receives the second characteristic information of the external electronic device connected via the communication interface, selects at least one of the resources included in the application based on the second characteristic information of the external electronic device, generates a screen where the application is executed, using the at least one of the resources, and transmits data corresponding to the screen to the external electronic device.
