Multi-active browser application
An improved browser application that provides a view with the option of displaying simultaneously content of a plurality of “tabs” of the browser application on one or more displays, regardless of whether the tabs are active or inactive, is described herein. For example, the browser application can display simultaneously the content of multiple tabs and allow a user to resize and reposition the content of any one tab independent of the size, position, or number of other displayed tab content. Thus, in some circumstances, the content of one tab can partially or fully overlap (and therefore partially or fully hide) the content of another tab after a user manipulation of the size or position of tab content.
Display system and display device
A display system includes a display and a detector configured to detect an orientation of the display. The display system includes a display source image generation unit configured to generate a display source image including a first image and a second image related to this first image; and a visual field image display unit configured to display the first image in a first display region of the display and display the second image in a second display region of the display. The visual field image display unit is configured to set a predetermined fixed region of the display as the first display region when a display mode associated with the first image is a first display mode, and determine the first display region according to the orientation of the display when the display mode is a second display mode.
AUTOMATIC ALIGNMENT OF WRIST-MOUNTED DISPLAY WITH ANOTHER DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed are techniques for automatically aligning a wrist-mounted display device to a primary display device to facilitate simultaneous use of both display devices. Historical usage information corresponding to a user using both devices is leveraged to determine usage patterns for the devices together. Subsequently, when the primary display device is used by the user, the usage patterns are used to determine when the wrist-mounted display device can be used together with the primary display device. Position information from each device is used to determine a position for the wrist-mounted display device to automatically relocate to for aligning the wrist-mounted display device and the primary display device to have similar viewing directions. The wrist-mounted display device is automatically aligned to the position, and a usage of the aligned wrist-mounted display device is initiated based on the historical usage patterns.
System, method and device for presenting different functional displays when orientation of the device changes
Different functional views for a mobile device are provided depending on orientation of the device. The mobile device includes an enclosure and a display disposed within the enclosure, wherein the display presents a functional view to a user when the device is positioned in a first orientation and a second functional view when the display is rotated to a second orientation.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and recording medium
Even under a situation where an object to be presented has movement, the object can be presented as display information in a more favorable mode. An information processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit (111) that acquires information regarding movement of an object, and a control unit (111) that projects the object in a display region at a projection timing set according to a first period, and corrects display information according to a result of the projection in accordance with a plurality of display timings each set for each second period shorter than the first period, and the control unit controls correction of second display information to maintain continuity according to the movement of the object between first display information displayed according to a first projection result of the object in accordance with a first display timing, and the second display information displayed according to a second projection result of the object in accordance with a second display timing immediately after the first display timing.
Display apparatus, method of controlling the same, and display system
The present disclosure provides a display apparatus capable of configuring layout information including rotation information of a display without user setting when a plurality of display apparatuses are connected, a method of controlling the display apparatus, and a display system. The display apparatus includes a display; a communication interface configured to communicate with at least one other display apparatus; and a controller configured to calculate position information of a display apparatus, to receive position information including rotation information of the at least one other display apparatus through the communication interface, and to output an output image signal to the display based on the position information of the display apparatus and the position information of the at least one other display apparatus.
DISPLAY APPARATUS CONTROLLING METHOD, DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND CONTROL CHIP
A display apparatus controlling method includes accepting input of a first image signal representing a first image, generating a second image signal by applying a first process of rotating the first image to the first image signal in accordance with the amount of rotation of the display apparatus calculated based on an output signal from an inertial sensor fixed to the display apparatus, and displaying on a display surface a display image corresponding to a second image based on the second image signal.
ORIENTATION-AGNOSTIC FULL-SCREEN USER INTERFACE DISPLAYS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A system and method for control of user interfaces on electronic and/or computerized devices. The system and method display images, both still and video images, in an orientation-agnostic manner that is independent of a physical orientation of the display screen. This provides an interesting visual display effect whereby the image appears to remain in a fixed orientation (e.g., upright) relative to three-dimensional space, untethered to any position or orientation of the display screen and/or device, while the display screen and/or device is changed in position and/or orientation, such that the portion of the viewed image changes according to the dimensions and orientation of the screen relative to an apparent fixed orientation and/or position of the underlying image. Such a system and method for control of user interfaces provides for more efficient use of a display screen having a relatively limited size, as is common for smartphones and tablet computers.
Display apparatus of a medical treatment device
A display device of a dialysis machine for displaying various parameters containing a quantity of patient-related treatment parameters and a quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters. The display device has one display and an input unit to individually modify the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters or the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters. The display includes a display area divided into a first display panel and a second display panel. The display can be switched to a treatment configuration in which the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters is displayed exclusively in the first display panel and the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters is displayed exclusively in the second display panel. The display can also be switched to a CIS configuration in which the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters is displayed exclusively in the second display panel and the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters is displayed exclusively in the first display panel.
WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY, AND SYSTEM INCLUDING WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND CASE
A wearable electronic device is provided. The wearable electronic device includes a housing including a first housing portion, a second housing portion, and a third housing portion, glasses surrounded by the second housing portion, a display for displaying screens in an inner direction and an outer direction on display areas of the glasses, a sensor module including a first sensor for identifying whether a user is wearing the wearable electronic device, a second sensor for determining a direction where the wearable electronic device is placed, and a third sensor for determining whether the first housing portion or the third housing portion is folded, a camera module including first cameras for tracking a hand gesture of the user and recognizing a space, second cameras for tracking pupils of the user, and a third camera for capturing the outside, and a processor connected with the display, the sensor module, and the camera module.
