Controlling images at mobile devices using sensors

Controlling images at mobile devices using sensors is described, for example, for interactive advertisements which respond to sensor readings at a mobile computing device. In various embodiments images are displayed at a mobile computing device according to sensor readings observed at the device and before user input is received at the images. For example, different regions of an image depicting a panorama are displayed as a mobile device is panned around or tilted. In another example images of an object in different orientations are presented as a mobile device is tilted in order to display the object as rotating. In various examples the images are displayed as part of a web page by using a template in the web page to control the display of images according to sensor readings. In various examples sensor readings are used to report user engagement with advertisements.

Conserving processing resources by controlling updates to damaged tiles of a content page
09785332 · 2017-10-10 · ·

A browser divides content pages into tiles for display on a user device, and updates the tiles that become “damaged” as the result of user interactions or other events. The browser may decide whether and/or when to update a damaged off-screen tile based partly or wholly on a predicted likelihood that the user will scroll to that tile or that the tile will otherwise become visible on the user device. This prediction may, for example, be based on one or more of the following: (1) the distance of the off-screen tile from the visible display area, (2) the past browsing/scrolling behaviors of the user and/or other users. The decision of whether or when to update the damaged off-screen tile may also be based on the cost (in terms of processing resources) of updating the tile, as may be estimated based on the processing resources used to initially generate the tile. In addition, the decision may be based on a measure of visual impact associated with deferring the update.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM

An information processing system, an information processing method, and a non-transitory recording medium. An information processing system displays an image transmitted from one of the information processing terminals on displays of other information processing terminals, stores information input by users of the information processing terminals with respect to the image displayed on each information processing terminal, calculates degree of interest in a specific image identified by specific identification information for each user, by comparing an aggregated value of the input information related to the specific image for each user with the aggregated value for each user related to another image or a plurality of other images identified respectively by other identification information, and causes the information processing terminal that transmitted the specific image to display on a display, information indicating the degree of interest of each user.

AUTOMATICALLY MASKING SENSITIVE INFORMATION DURING SCREEN SHARING

Aspects for automatically masking sensitive information during screen sharing are described. In an embodiment, one or more processors are configured for detecting a first event corresponding to a start screen sharing session in a webpage browser; transmitting a first notification to the webpage browser to indicate the first event; masking sensitive data images in the webpage browser; detecting a second event corresponding to a stop screen sharing session in the webpage browser; transmitting a second notification to the webpage browser to indicate the second event; and unmasking the sensitive data images in the webpage browser upon receipt of the second notification. The first event and the second event are detected by a screen capturing agent in communication with the webpage browser. Communications between the screen capturing agent and the webpage browser are facilitated using Inter-Process Communication (IPC).

A mobile terminal includes: a display unit configured to display information; a short-range communication module configured to transmit information on a screen of the display unit to a display device in order to perform a screen mirroring function; and a control unit configured to control the display unit and the short-range communication module, wherein the control unit controls the screen mirroring function based on a type of a screen that the mobile terminal displays.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OUTPUTTING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display configured to output a screen on which a web browser is executed, an input device comprising input circuitry configured to integrate with the display or be independent of the display, a communication circuit configured establish a communication channel with the network via a wired or wireless communication connection, a processor configured to be electrically connected with the communication circuit, the display, and the input device, and a memory configured to store a program and instructions for the web browser and be electrically connected with the processor. The memory stores the instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to perform at least one operation comprising: displaying the screen where the web browser is executed on the display, receiving a web document via the communication circuit, displaying the content on the first region based on the first code and displaying an object which may interact with the content on the second region based on the second code.

Provided are a content sharing system, a content sharing method, and a program, which are capable of appropriately processing an operation of a use on shared content after a display update by an operation of another user is performed. An object processing execution module executes the predetermined processing on an object that is in a focus state at a timing that is before a time earlier than the operation of instructing of execution of the predetermined processing by the predetermined time period and that is closest to the time earlier than the operation by the predetermined time period, when it is identified that the display update of the shared content has been performed by the operation of another user during as predetermined time period until the operation.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GUIDED LIVE HELP
20170269945 · 2017-09-21 ·

Provided are systems and methods for creating and playing back live help routines for websites. During creation of a live help routine, the user performs actions on the website, and information about the user's actions and the website elements being interacted with are automatically stored. In addition, screenshots and HTML of the target website may be stored. The stored information about the website elements may include properties, attributes, and other identifying information regarding the target elements. Upon execution of the stored live help routine, the user viewing the live help routine is guided through the steps by highlighting on the live website the target element that the user need to interact with. The target element is found by matching all or part of the stored information about the website elements with the properties, attributes, and other information of the elements of the live website.

Historian interface system

A historian interface system provides a graphical representation of tags that represent attributes of a continuous process. A historian system stores the tags and metadata values describing the tags. A display device coupled to the historian system via a communication network displays graphical representations of the tags via display panels and receives selections of the tags. The historian system contextualizes selected tags based on the metadata values describing the selected tag and determines an optimal visualization scheme for the selected tags. The display device displays graphical representations of values of the tags and dynamically determines optimal grouping of the tags based on properties of the display device.
