INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM, AND IMAGING APPARATUS
The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, a display control method, a program, and an imaging apparatus capable of shortening a switching time of a display device that displays a video. The information processing apparatus includes: a display control unit that, in a case where display of a video is switched from a first display unit to which a first video signal is input via a first bus to a second display unit to which a second video signal is input via a second bus, causes the first display unit to transition from an activated state in which operation is performed in a light-emitting state to a standby state in which operation is performed in a non-light-emitting state or a stopped state in which operation is stopped in the non-light-emitting state, and causes the second display unit to transition from the standby state or the stopped state to the activated state. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an imaging apparatus.
Repeater device for displayport side channel and operating method thereof
Provided are a repeater device for a DisplayPort side channel and an operating method thereof. The repeater device of a DisplayPort includes: a source device processor transmits or receives an electrical signal of a side channel data of the display port to or from a source device and processes repeater data; and a sink device processor transmits or receives an electrical signal of a side channel data of the display port to or from a sink device and processes repeater data, wherein the source device processor or the sink device processor comprising a controller processes repeating of the side channel data of the display port using the repeater data which is obtained by transforming the electrical signal to an optical signal.
Wireless device cooperative transmission schemes
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. Because the local antennas and auxiliary antennas may have different capabilities (e.g., due to different power or other constraints), the first device may generate first uplink signals for transmission using the local antennas differently from second uplink signals for transmission using the auxiliary antennas. The first device may transmit the first uplink signals to the base station using the local antennas and transmit the second uplink signals to the second device for transmission to the base station using the auxiliary antennas based on different configurations.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND EDID INFORMATION CHANGING METHOD THEREOF
A display device includes an external input interface connected to a source device, a memory configured to store first extended display identification data (EDID) information to be provided to the source device and store a plurality of second EDID information supportable by the display device, and a processor configured to determine the presence or absence of a video signal or an audio signal input from the source device, and when there is no video signal or audio signal input from the source device, change the first EDID information to be provided to the source device to second EDID information of a version different from that of the first EDID information among the plurality of second EDID information.
TRANSMITTING METHOD, RECEIVING METHOD, TRANSMITTING DEVICE, RECEIVING DEVICE, AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR TOUCH SCREEN INSTRUCTION
Disclosed are a transmitting method, a receiving method, a receiving device, a transmitting device, a receiving device, and a transmission system for touch screen instruction, where the transmitting method includes the following. A receiving device obtains touch screen instruction from a touch screen via an interface of a first transmission medium, and the touch screen instruction comprises a user operation input to the touch screen. The receiving device superimposes a common mode signal obtained by processing the touch screen instruction with a differential mode signal obtained through processing the differential signal to obtain a mixed signal comprising the touch screen instruction. The receiving device transmits the mixed signal to a transmitting device via a network port. By adopting this disclosure, the touch screen instruction is transmitted via a cable, which can realize the control of the video source device connected to the transmitting device. The user experience is high.
Display device with distributed driver circuits switchable between serial and parallel communication modes
A display device includes a control circuit, an array of LED zones, and an array of driver circuits that are distributed in the display area. The driver circuits are arranged in groups that are connected in a serial chain by a set of communication lines. The group of driver circuits are configurable between a serial communication mode and a parallel communication mode. In the serial communication mode, each driver circuit receives an incoming signal on an input pin, processes the signal through serial communication logic to generate an outgoing signal, and outputs the outgoing signal to an output pin such that the driver circuits serially process the incoming signal. In the parallel communication mode, each driver circuit transfers the incoming signal from the input pin to the output pin bypassing the serial communication logic such that all driver circuits in the group can process the incoming signal in parallel.
Data Processing Device, Data Driving Device, and System for Driving Display Device
The present disclosure relates to a data driving device, a data processing device, and a system for driving a display device and, more particularly, it relates to a data driving device, a data processing device, and a system for smoothly performing a low-speed communication through a communication line including an alternating current coupling capacitor.
DISPLAY DRIVER INTEGRATED CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A display device includes: a host which transmits a first signal through a first interface, and transmits a second signal through a second interface different from the first interface; a display driver integrated circuit including a first interface unit which receives the first signal through the first interface, and a second interface unit which receives the second signal through the second interface; and a display panel which receives a data signal corresponding to the first signal and the second signal from the display driver integrated circuit, and displays an image.
DRIVE CONTROL METHOD AND ASSEMBLY, AS WELL AS DISPLAY DEVICE
