One of the driven magnetic elements (26) is positioned to: generally face a first driving magnetic element (36) in a generally attraction orientation relative to said one driven magnetic element (26), the first driving magnetic element (36) driving this one driven magnetic element (26) in rotation; and be off-set relative to a second driving magnetic element (36) in a generally repulsion orientation relative to the one driven magnetic element (26), the second magnetic element (36) driving the one driven magnetic element (26) in rotation.
MAGNETIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, WITH ASSOCIATED MAGNETIC DRIVE DEVICE AND BEVERAGE HEATING DEVICE EMPLOYING SUCH
A magnetic transmission system comprising a main drive assembly and a driven assembly located within and concentric to the main drive assembly. The main drive assembly has a side wall with a plurality of first driving members disposed thereon. The driven assembly has a side wall with a plurality of second driving members disposed thereon. The first driving members and/or the second driving members are magnets having magnetic properties. The interaction of the magnetic force between the first driving members and the second driving members enables the main drive assembly to drive the driven assembly to rotate whilst at the same time enabling the driven assembly to be touched and stopped at any time without the need to turn off the main drive assembly. The present invention effectively avoids unnecessary damage to the user when they accidentally contact the driven assembly, thereby providing high safety performance and strong practicability. The magnetic transmission system and associated device can be employed in various home appliances and electronic products such as beverage warming devices and in particular milk heating devices.
MOTOR WITH INDUCTIVE DECELERATION
A motor is generally described. The motor may include an armature and a coil. The coil and armature operatively receive power from a power source. The power induces magnetic fields in the coil and armature to drive the armature. When power is removed, the coils reverse polarity to inductively decelerate the armature.
ERGONOMIC WHISK FOR FOOD PROCESSING
A machine (1) for stirring a liquid food substance has: a container (10) delimiting a cavity (11) with a bottom (12) and a peripheral wall (13) for containing said liquid food substance to be stirred, the cavity (11) extending generally along a generally upright central container axis (14) and having a mouth (15) for removing from the container (10) said liquid food substance upon stirring; and an impeller (20) comprising an impelling member (21) which is configured to be rotated in the cavity (11) against said liquid food substance about an impeller axis (22) that is generally identical or generally parallel to the container axis (14). The impelling member (21) is configured to be spaced above the cavity's bottom (12) by: a maximum stirring distance (H) when the impelling member (21) is rotated at at a maximum stirring speed about the impeller axis (22); and a resting distance (h), smaller than the maximum stirring distance (H), when the impelling member (21) stands still.
Virtual sight glass for a portable beverage dispensing container
A portable beverage dispensing container comprises a housing and an internal beverage holding tank positioned in and contained within the housing. The internal beverage holding tank is configured to receive and store a beverage, and the internal beverage holding tank is constructed from a translucent material. The housing includes an opening through a rear surface thereof, such that light from a light source (which is installed at a brewing station) can be directed through the opening and through the internal beverage holding tank, such a light pattern is projected on a sight glass window on a front surface of the housing that provides a visual indication of the level of the beverage in the shuttle.
Agitator assembly for a portable beverage dispensing container
A portable beverage dispensing container comprises a housing and an internal beverage holding tank positioned in and contained within the housing. An intermediate drive magnet is installed in a base of the portable beverage dispensing container below and outside of the internal beverage holding tank, and a beverage agitator is positioned within the internal beverage holding tank and magnetically coupled to the intermediate drive magnet. In use, rotation of the intermediate drive magnet causes a corresponding rotation of the beverage agitator within the internal beverage holding tank. The intermediate drive magnet is configured for magnetic coupling to a drive magnet installed in a brewing station when the portable beverage dispensing container is positioned at the brewing station.
Cookware and geometrically patterned magnetic stirrer assembly
A cookware and geometrically patterned magnetic stirrer assembly provides cookware for heating and stirring food. A heating element heats a cooking surface on the cookware. At least one geometrically patterned electromagnetic coil is integrated into the cookware. The electromagnetic coil generates a magnetic field when an electrical current passes through. At least one magnetic stirrer operates on the cooking surface to stir the food in response to the magnetic field, in accordance to the path of geometric pattern. Controllably applying varying electrical currents through the electromagnetic coil moves the magnetic stirrer in the path of the geometric pattern at varying speeds and directions. The electromagnetic coil can be arranged in a snowflake pattern, a spider web pattern, or a helix. A controller regulates electrical current through the heating element and the electromagnetic coil to allow the heating and stirring functions to operate independently of each other.
Electronic grinder
A electronic grinder includes a base and a cup, the cup defining a pulverization chamber. A drive shaft connected to an electric motor terminates inside the pulverization chamber at a blade group. The blade group is magnetically removable from the end of the drive shaft for easy cleaning and replacement. The end of the cup opposite from the base in includes a fixed ring and a moveable cap that rotates or swivels about a pin connecting the two components for easy access to the contents of the pulverization chamber. The electric motor is controlled by a microcontroller operable by a power button and a control button. An inductive switch configured as a triggering member is disposed between the base and cup to detect whether the two components are connected in order to prevent inadvertent use of the grinder.
Magnetically Driven Beverage Brewing and Cleaning System
A coffee brewing system includes a brew vessel adapted to receive water and ground coffee to produce and store a brewed beverage and to provide for a cleaning system. The brew vessel includes a filter and a magnet stirrer in the lower portion of the brew vessel. The magnet stirrer creates a water vortex for brewing the coffee. The used coffee grounds are allowed to settle on the filter creating a bed of used coffee grounds and the coffee is then filtered through both the bed of used coffee grounds and the filter and collected in a coffee storage container. A cleaning system is used to remove unsightly coffee stains and oil films in the system after a brewing cycle.
MIXING BOTTLE WITH MAGNETIC MIXING BLADE
A portable bottle which is motorized and magnetically linked to a mixing blade. Once the motor is activated by depressing the ON/OFF button, the magnetic attraction between the motor and the mixing blade rotates the mixing blade at the same speed. The lack of a physical shaft running through the bottle provides a completely leak-proof container. The mixing blade is also magnetically attached to the base of the bottle and is removable for easy cleaning.
