Provided according to an exemplary embodiment is a heater for an aerosol generation device, the heater comprising a plurality of segments combined together to form an insertion portion into which an object-to-be-heated is inserted; one or more electrically conductive tracks printed on one surface of each of the plurality of segments and disposed toward the object-to-be-heated; and an elastic member configured to surround at least a part of the plurality of segments.

The present disclosure is directed to an aerosol delivery device and a holder for use with a removable substrate cartridge. In one implementation, the holder includes a first body portion and a second body portion, the first body portion defining a main body and a guide post that defines a receiving chamber extending at least a portion therethrough. The second body portion is configured to rotate about and slide along at least a portion of the guide post to and from a use position, wherein the second body portion is proximate the main body of the first body portion and the substrate cartridge is retained in the receiving chamber, and an open position, wherein the second body portion is rotated relative to and extended away from the main body of the first body portion such that the substrate cartridge can be inserted into or removed from the receiving chamber.

A portable, personal storage and carrying case for an e-liquid e-cigarette PV in which the case includes: a refillable PV that is removable from the case; an electrical power source for re-charging a rechargeable battery in the PV; a user-replaceable reservoir for holding e-liquid; and an electrical or electronic pump adapted to transfer e-liquid from the reservoir to a chamber in the PV, the pump delivering a pre-defined or variable quantity of e-liquid from the reservoir; and in which the case has closed and open positions, and lifts up the removable PV when in the open position to enable a user to readily withdraw the PV from the case.

There is provided an aerosol-generating article including a tobacco plug, a mouthpiece positioned downstream of the tobacco plug, and a resistive heating element positioned within the tobacco plug. The resistive heating element includes an upstream portion protruding from an upstream end of the tobacco plug, wherein the upstream portion of the resistive heating element includes at least two heater electrical contacts configured to receive a supply of electrical energy from at least two device electrical contacts when the aerosol-generating article including the resistive heating element is inserted into an aerosol-generating device.

There is provided an aerosol generating system, the system comprising: aerosol generating means; aerosol delivery means; and an aerosol guiding device (1). The aerosol guiding device comprises a chamber having an air inlet (14) and an air outlet (12) and the aerosol delivery means is configured such that aerosol is introduced from the aerosol generating means into the chamber in use. An airflow route is defined from the air inlet to the air outlet so as to convey the aerosol to the air outlet, and the relative dimensions of the air inlet and the air outlet are selected to provide pressure control means for controlling the pressure differential between the air inlet and the air outlet. There is also provided an aerosol guiding device for use in an aerosol generating system, the device comprising: a chamber having an air inlet and an air outlet. Aerosol is introduced from an aerosol generating means into the chamber in use, an airflow route is defined from the air inlet to the air outlet so as to convey the aerosol to the air outlet, and the relative dimensions of the air inlet and the air outlet are selected to provide pressure control means for controlling the pressure differential between the air inlet and the air outlet.

An atomizer includes a top cover, a bottom seat, and an atomizing assembly mounted between the top cover and the bottom seat. The top cover includes a mouthpiece and a liquid injection member mounted on one end of the mouthpiece. The atomizing assembly includes a first pressing ring and a fixing member fixed on one end of the first pressing ring. The fixing member is sleeved on the liquid injection member, and the liquid injection member is able to move along an axial direction of the atomizer, to cause the liquid injection member separating apart from the first pressing ring for adding cigarette liquid. An aerosol generating apparatus with the atomizer is also provided.

On-demand, hand-held vaporizer that operates primarily by convection. The vaporizer is configured to permit very rapid (e.g., within a few seconds) heating of air drawn through an oven chamber to a predetermined or selectable vaporizing temperature to vaporize a material (e.g., loose leaf plant material, etc.) that is held in the oven chamber. The vaporizer provides efficient transfer of air being heated as well as rapid delivery of vaporizable material to a user.

A heating element module for an aerosol-generating device is provided, including an elongate heating element having a heating portion; a heating element mount, wherein the heating element extends substantially perpendicularly from a first surface of the heating element mount; and first and second projections extending substantially perpendicularly from the first surface of the heating element mount and abutting first and second sides of the heating element. There is provided an aerosol-generating article including a combustible heat source; an aerosol-forming substrate disposed in thermal communication with the combustible heat source; and a heat-conducting component disposed around at least a portion of the aerosol-forming substrate, the heat-conducting component including an outer surface forming at least part of an outer surface of the aerosol-generating article, wherein at least a portion of the outer surface of the heat-conducting component includes a surface coating and has an emissivity of less than about 0.6. A method of manufacturing the aerosol-generating article is also provided.
