The guitar pick holder is configured for use with a stringed musical instrument. The guitar pick holder handle holds and controls one or more plectrum. The guitar pick holder allows the one or more plectrum to be used simultaneously. The guitar pick holder: 1) enables the simultaneous plucking of two or more strings selected from the plurality of strings by a plurality of plectrum; 2) enables the simultaneous plucking of a single string selected from the plurality of strings by a plurality of plectrum; and 3) enables the simultaneous plucking of two or more strings by a plurality of coins. The guitar pick holder comprises a hand grip, one or more plectrum slots, and one or more reverb slots. The one or more plectrum slots and the one or more reverb slots are formed within the hand grip.

A plectrum for use with a stringed musical instrument is provided. The plectrum includes a rigid outer shell and an inlay portion, partially inserted within, and secured to, the outer shell. A portion of the inlay portion extends beyond the outer shell. The outer shell includes a first material configured to produce first tonal properties in a string of a stringed musical instrument when placed in contact with the string, and the inlay portion includes a second material configured to produce second tonal properties in the string when placed in contact with the string. The first tonal properties are different from the second tonal properties.

A plectrum for use with a stringed musical instrument is provided. The plectrum includes a rigid outer shell and an inlay portion, partially inserted within, and secured to, the outer shell. A portion of the inlay portion extends beyond the outer shell. The outer shell includes a first material configured to produce first tonal properties in a string of a stringed musical instrument when placed in contact with the string, and the inlay portion includes a second material configured to produce second tonal properties in the string when placed in contact with the string. The first tonal properties are different from the second tonal properties.

A pick for plucking a string of a stringed musical instrument is provided. The pick includes a planar body having front and rear sides, a distal end having a curved tip for plucking the string, a proximal end for gripping by a user; and a plurality of raised formations provided on at least one of the front and rear sides of the planar body at the distal end, the raised formations being structured and arranged at the distal end to strike the string more than once when the distal end plucks the string.

A pick for plucking a string of a stringed musical instrument is provided. The pick includes a planar body having front and rear sides, a distal end having a curved tip for plucking the string, a proximal end for gripping by a user; and a plurality of raised formations provided on at least one of the front and rear sides of the planar body at the distal end, the raised formations being structured and arranged at the distal end to strike the string more than once when the distal end plucks the string.

A guitar pick retriever includes an elongated shaft that has a width small enough for fitting between a string of a guitar and an edge of a sound hole of the guitar. The elongated shaft is sufficiently long for reaching within a hollow body of a guitar through a sound hole of the guitar. An attracting device is affixed at one end of the elongated shaft.

The attracting device having attractive properties (e.g., suction, static charge, stickiness) such that, upon contact and/or pressure with a guitar pick, the attracting device temporarily holds onto the guitar pick for removing the guitar pick from the hollow body of the guitar.

A plectrum or pick for a stringed musical instrument. The plectrum includes a core and at least one outer layer. The core is made of a rigid material and has a front surface opposite a rear surface. The outer layer is made of a soft material. The outer layer is attached to one of the front surface and the rear surface.

A plectrum for playing a stringed musical instrument includes a body with two opposing sides, a lower plucking region, a central gripping region and a top region having a transverse groove. A wedge shaped piece of material is secured into the transverse groove on the top of the plectrum to provide a second surface for impinging or actuating the strings of the instrument. Typically, the body of the plectrum is composed of a semi rigid or flexible plastic, while the wedge of material is composed of a harder substance, such as glass or polished stone.

The present invention is a guitar pick with an integral strap holder. The present invention comes in a variety of embodiments. In one set of embodiments, a slot can be made in the guitar pick, for accommodating a guitar strap. In another set of embodiments, a breakaway shaft can be connected to the guitar pick. The breakaway shaft contains a toothed slot for accommodating a guitar strap.
