A drumming system includes a percussion instrument; an inserting/retracting coupled to the percussion instrument for moving the first percussion instrument to a desired position with respect to a second percussion instrument; the inserting/retracting mechanism including a motor, an input device for receiving an operation instruction and generating an operation signal based on the operation instruction, a feedback mechanism for obtaining position information of the first percussion instrument and generating a feedback signal representative of the position information, and a controller electrically coupled to the input device, the motor, and the feedback mechanism for actuating the motor based on the operation signal and the feedback signal.

A percussion device includes (1) a platform portion composed of a first material having an exposed striking portion composed of a second material different from the first material; (2) a base portion separated from, and substantially parallel to, the platform portion by a predetermined distance; (3) at least one unitary sidewall portion positioned between the platform portion and the base portion at respective opposing edges of the platform portion and the base portion; and (4) a non-flexible surface below, and in contact with, at least a portion of the exposed striking portion.

A percussion surface apparatus includes: a head which is formed by rubber, and which includes a front surface and a back surface, the front surface which functions as a percussion surface; a cushion member which includes: a first layer that is butted against the back surface of the head, and that is formed by a fiber-based non-woven fabric; and a second layer that is adjacent to the first layer, and that is formed by a porous urethane material; and a supporting unit which is configured to fix and support the cushion member in a state where the cushion member is butted against the back surface of the head at a pressure.

A percussion device includes (1) a platform portion composed of a first material having an exposed striking portion composed of a second material different from the first material; (2) a base portion separated from, and substantially parallel to, the platform portion by a predetermined distance; and (3) at least one unitary sidewall portion positioned between the platform portion and the base portion at respective opposing edges of the platform portion and the base portion.

An adaptable drum practice device includes an attachment mechanism, including a clip or a clamp; a sliding rail; a one-piece or telescoping shaft; and a device practice pad; such that the device practice pad is rotationally connected to the shaft, which allows a drummer to set the device practice pad to preferred height and rotational, vertical, and horizontal angles, and longitudinal position. The adaptable drum practice device can further include a ball joint with a locking mechanism, and the telescoping shaft can further include upper and lower shafts. The adaptable drum practice device allows a practicing drummer to attach the adaptable drum practice device to an existing conventional training drum, quickly and securely, thereby allowing the drummer to have two drumming surfaces that resemble a drum and a hi-hat, cymbal, or additional drum.

A foldable music teaching device is disclosed. The music teaching device includes a plate. The plate includes a first plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The second plate comes in a rectangular configuration and acts as a center plate of the plate. Each of the first plate and the third plate comes in a semi-circular configuration and connects at either side of the second plate. Each of the first plate, the second plate, and the third plate includes zones for receiving magnetic pads. The plate includes legs/supports. The legs/supports help to position the plate at a height from the ground. The second plate presents a hinge plate. The hinge plate allows to position music notes over the second plate such that users stand surrounding the plate. The users view the music notes and use musical instruments to produce sound by hitting the musical instruments over the magnetic pads.

A foldable music teaching device is disclosed. The music teaching device includes a plate. The plate includes a first plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The second plate comes in a rectangular configuration and acts as a center plate of the plate. Each of the first plate and the third plate comes in a semi-circular configuration and connects at either side of the second plate. Each of the first plate, the second plate, and the third plate includes zones for receiving magnetic pads. The plate includes legs/supports. The legs/supports help to position the plate at a height from the ground. The second plate presents a hinge plate. The hinge plate allows to position music notes over the second plate such that users stand surrounding the plate. The users view the music notes and use musical instruments to produce sound by hitting the musical instruments over the magnetic pads.

A drum assembly that includes a circular frame member that defines a frame opening therein, an upper drum head member secured to the frame member and spanning the frame opening, a lower drum head member positioned below the upper drum head member, secured to the frame member and spanning the frame opening, and a threaded rod assembly extending between the upper drum head member and the lower drum head member. The threaded rod assembly includes an upper threaded member that is threadingly engaged with the upper drum head member. Rotation of the upper threaded member in a predetermined direction moves the upper drum head member away from the lower drum head member, such that tension is increased in the upper drum head member.

A drum assembly that includes a circular frame member that defines a frame opening therein, an upper drum head member secured to the frame member and spanning the frame opening, a lower drum head member positioned below the upper drum head member, secured to the frame member and spanning the frame opening, and a threaded rod assembly extending between the upper drum head member and the lower drum head member. The threaded rod assembly includes an upper threaded member that is threadingly engaged with the upper drum head member. Rotation of the upper threaded member in a predetermined direction moves the upper drum head member away from the lower drum head member, such that tension is increased in the upper drum head member.

A coordination improvement device is disclosed. The device includes a platform and a plurality of pads disposed on, and arranged around, the platform. The device may take various configurations and sizes to be utilized by the user to increase ambidexterity. For example, the device can be configured as a drum coordination kit with the pads configured to be stuck by drum sticks.
