A method of cleaning a food processor includes: (a) providing a food processor a base that includes a rotary power driver having a rotatable shaft; a bowl mounted on the base; and a food processing blade attached to the shaft within the bowl; (b) inserting a cleaning accessory into the bowl above the food processing blade; (c) introducing cleaning fluid into the bowl; and (d) rotating the food processing blade with the rotatable shaft to agitate the cleaning fluid.

The invention relates to a food processor (10) comprising at least one processor device (50) and one monitoring device (200). In a preparation mode, said processor device (50) can be actuated so as to prepare food at least partly automatically, said monitoring device (200) comprising at least one sensor (52) for determining at least one first and one second recording (101.1, 101.2), wherein the second recording (101.2) such that, depending on this difference, a future specific state of preparation can be ascertained. The monitoring device (200) comprises a process unit (210) by means of which an item of analysis information can be determined based on the first and/or second recording (101.1, 101.2), an analysis (140) of said analysis information can be carried out in order to determine an analysis result specific to said future specific state of preparation, and at least one control signal (161) can be emitted to influence the preparation mode, depending on said analysis result.

The present disclosure relates to a food preparation appliance comprising a food preparation pot and a rotatable tool for chopping and/or blending a food in the food preparation pot wherein the tool is detachably connected to a shaft, which is at least partially outside the food preparation pot in order to be coupled to a drive for rotation. Further, a locking mechanism is provided for connecting the tool to the shaft in a locked manner. The locking mechanism is arranged in such a way that, during operation, the tool can be driven by the shaft in both rotation directions for chopping and/or blending a food.

A cryogen injection nozzle for a blender, comprising a housing having an internal chamber extending therethrough; a first tube extending along the internal chamber and having a first opening for delivering a cryogen to the blender; and a fluid flow apparatus mounted to the housing for introducing and removing a fluid flow at the internal chamber, the apparatus including a first pipe extending into the internal chamber for delivering the fluid flow to contact the first tube, and a second pipe extending a shorter distance into the internal chamber than the first pipe for removing the fluid flow from the internal chamber. An accessory for use in a food processing system having a processing chamber in a container with an interior surface and a rotatable blade assembly, the accessory including an accessory body receivable within the processing chamber of the attachment. The accessory body has an upper end, a lower end, and at least one sidewall extending between the first end and the second end to define an accessory interior. An opening to the accessory interior is arranged at the upper end and a filtering body extends from the accessory body. The filtering body is associable with the interior surface of the container to create an exit channel from the processing chamber.

The present system provides an enclosure which engages a blender base via friction fit created by one or more engagement members, so that a rotation of the enclosure and blender base relative to one another secures the enclosure to the blender base with an audible or tactile confirmation.
